Abstract

Das Versprühen dieser chemischen Mittel, oder das Aufhängen von Streifen und Kugeln ist aus ästhetischen und gesundheitlichen Gründen kaum zu befürworten. Hierfür ist ein kastenähnliches, ganz oder teilweise aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff gefertigtes Fanggerät entwickelt, das durch einen Schiebeboden ver schlossen werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Boden so weit aufge zogen, daß der größte Teil des durchsichtigen Kastens nach einer Seite offen ist. Mit dieser Öffnung wird der Kasten - im weiteren Box genannt - über das zu fangende Tier an Fenster, Wand oder Fuß boden so gestülpt, daß die Box durch Aufliegen an der Fläche ein Ent kommen des Insektes zunächst einmal unmöglich macht. Nun wird die Box wieder in den Boden zurückgeschoben, so daß das gefangene Insekt ge zwungen ist, von seinem bisherigen Standort in die sich schließende Box überzuwechseln. Jetzt kann die Box von der Fläche, auf der sich das Tier befunden hat, abgenommen werden, da es nach keiner Seite entweichen kann. Schon durch eine Spaltöffnung von Fenster oder Tür etc. kann das gefangene Tier durch weniges Aufschieben der Box - was leicht mit einer Hand erfolgen kann - ins Freie entlassen werden. Wahlweise ist der Boden der Fangbox in der Herstellung mit einem Kontaktgift zu versehen.
