Falzmaschine mit Falzwalzen und Falzplatten.
Die Erfindung betrifft Falzmaschinen für
Papier o. dgl. jener bekannten Art, bei
welcher die Faltung durch eine Anzahl von
Falzgruppen bewirkt wird. deren jede aus
Falzwalzen und eitler Falzplatte zusammen-
gesetzt ist. Der Zweck der Erfindung ist. die
Ixi:tun@gsfähigkeit #lieser Maschinen <la-
durch zu lieben. .lall ihr Benutzer in einer
leichteren und sicheren Reise als bisher be-
fähigt wird, jede gewünschte Anzahl von
Falztulpen alnerhalll einer vorgesehenen
Höchstzahl im I diese in irgendeiner ge-
wünschtcti Reihenfolge vorzunehmen, tun
,leinentsprechend die # eine oder die andere
Faltung willkürlich durch eine einfache Ein-
>tellung des Getriebes auszulassen.
Zu diesem Zweck besteht die Erfindung in
einer #olchen Anordnung der Falzplatten,
,labt sie gegenüber ihren Falzwalzen längs
einstellbar sind und in der Anordnung eines
.\Iplenkers für iule Falzplatte. Dieser Ab-
lenker ist an der Platte gelenkig befestigt:

Nach A11. i trägt Glas Gestell a den ge-
wöhnlichen Zuführungstisch finit einer lZeilie
Walzen h, uni die Blätter den Speisewalzen
hl, h= und einer Gruppe von Falzwalzen
c, d, e. f, r, li bekannter Art zuzuführen. Die
Falzplatten i, j, h. 1 sind in parallelen wage-
rechten Ebenen angeordnet und arbeiten mit
den Falzwalzen in bekannter Mise zusam-
men. Die Falzplatten sind längs beweglich
und in Führungen einstellbar, wie bei den
Falzplatten i und j in A11. 2 dargestellt ist.
Die Führungen für jede Falzplatte bestehen
aus Uber- und Unterteil und längsgerichtf-
ten Seitenteilen i= oder j= und i" oder j°. Die
Langsteile r' oder j' der Falzplatten sind an
den den liihrungsflächen der Führungsglie-
der i- oder j- gegenüberliegenden Flächen
mit lasten ? (Abb. 2) versehen, in welche
rasch wirkende Federstifte i' (Abb. r und 2)

verschieden bei den verschiedenen Falzgrup-
pen ist. So ist für die Falzplatte i der Ab-
lc'nker il mit einer Stirnfläche versehen, die
sich an die Walze d anschmiegt, um das
Falzstück bei Verlassen der Walzen c. d in
den Spalt zwischen den Walzen d, e überzu-
führen. Zwischen dieser Stirnfläche und der
Mündung der Falzplatte i ist an <lein Ab-
lenker il eine Querrippe vor der Falzplatten-
inündung angebracht. .Die untere Lippe z-1
der -Mündung der Falzplatte i ist, wie ge-
wöhnlich. mit einer nach unten vorspringen-
den Nase für bekannte Zwecke versehen. Die
Ablenker j1, k1 und 11 der übrigen Falzplatten
haben keinen der Querrippe wirkungs-
gleichen Teil, sondern jede ist mit zwei ge-
krümmten Stirnflächen versehen, «-elche sich
a11 die Rollelf an schilllegen, welche sie be-
dienen. Die unteren Lippen _r1 der zugehöri-
gen Falzplatte sind selbst, wie aus der Zeich-
nung ersichtlich ist, gekrümmt. ucn sich der
benachbarten Walze anzuschmiegen und so
eine Schutzfläche dagegen zu bilden, (laß die
Falzstücke einen falschen Weg gelle@l, wenn
die Ablenker il, 1,1, 1', j' zurückgelegt

Wenn eine Falzplatte in ihre Führung zu-
rückgezogen und mit dem Federstift i" fest-
gestellt wird, kann ihr Ablenker, z. B. i'.
