Description
If an earth fault occurs in a branch line of a high-voltage network protected by quenching coils, then it is not easily possible to recognize from the voltages to earth in which branch line the fault is, because the network conductors of all branch lines immediately equate to the potential of the associated network conductors from the earth fault accept affected branch line. For this reason, it has already been proposed in Xnets protected by quenching coils to use the watt component of the residual earth leakage current remaining at the fault location despite the adjustment of the quenching coil for the selective detection of the branch line afflicted with an earth fault. For this purpose, wattmeters are installed in the network conductors of the branch lines near their connection to the busbars. With fault-free symmetrical Xetz, this voltage is relatively small and there is no fault current and the deflection of the wattmeter XuIl, but in the event of a ground fault there is a fault current and the voltage at the quenching coil rises to the value of the full voltage of the network phase concerned. In this way, a substantial deflection occurs in the power meter, which is in the ground fault entailing line conductor, while the same in the power conductors to phase of the other branch lines built \\ r attmeter show a considerably smaller scale. However, these facilities have considerable disadvantages. The mere fact that it is a wattmeter necessitates the supply of many voltage lines to the individual instruments, and since the high voltage of the quenching coil cannot be used directly, the use of one or more voltage transformers is necessary. But the sure difference in wattmeter rashes between operation with a healthy and a diseased network does not exist if the quenching coil already has a considerable voltage even with a healthy network, as is the case, for example, with a healthy network. B. may be the case as a result of a network imbalance. In the case of large capacitance asymmetries and low leakage losses, the voltage on the coil can be equal to or even greater than the phase voltage of the network and a fault current can be present even during normal operation, and therefore it is possible that considerable wattmeter fluctuations are already present during normal operation of the network make selective detection of a faulty branch line very difficult, if not impossible. In this method, as already mentioned, the watt component of the residual earth fault current remaining at the fault location, which flows through part of the diseased power line, was used for the selective detection of the branch line concerned. Now, however, there is another possibility in that the upper-wave component of the earth-fault current also remaining in the earth-fault residual current is used for the purpose mentioned.
Hierdurch wird die Empfindlichkeit der aufThe invention relates to a display device for selective recognition a branch line of a high-voltage network with an earth fault, in which in the branch lines switched to higher harmonic responsive devices which indicate harmonics contained in the earth fault current. The invention will be explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.
In Abb.

ein Verluststrom /„,,In Fig. Ι Q means a three-phase generator feeding the busbars N , the zero point O of which is grounded via the quenching coil L. I and II are branch lines whose phases are labeled R, S and T. Frequency meters FR /, Fs Jt F Ti, FRn, FSn, F Tu , which indicate the occurrence of higher harmonics, are built into the branch conductors going out from the busbars. This circuit diagram is now supplemented by the capacitors C corresponding to the partial capacitances to earth and by the resistors W corresponding to the leakage resistances (or total loss resistances). It is assumed that phase T of branch line I has a ground fault, which is indicated by a lightning arrow. There is thus a conductive connection at point O between conductor Γ / and earth E, and the question arises as to what type of residual current flowing through conductor T 1 is. Assuming that the quenching coil L is tuned to almost resonance with the partial capacitances of the network (with respect to the fundamental wave), three currents flow from each of the healthy network conductors to earth, namely
a leakage current / ",,

Während hiernach also der Leiter T1 Ströme von OberwellenfrequenzThe sum of all capacitance currents (Σ / J does not flow through the fault location, but enters the quenching coil L. The sums of all loss and harmonic currents, on the other hand, i.e. Σ / ,,. And i / 0 , enter the conductor T 1 and flow about this to the busbar and the generator. Faßt man nun gemäß Abb. 2 die gleichphasigen Frequenzmesser zu Gruppen zusammen, dann ergibt sich im Erdschlußfalle folgendes Bild: Von den Frequenzmessern der im Erdschluß befindlichen Phase T If the in-phase frequency meters are now combined into groups as shown in Fig. 2, the following picture results in the event of an earth fault: Of the frequency meters for phase T which is in the earth fault

Der Sekundärstrom durchfließt eine Brücke B, welche aus den vier Teilen L1, W1, L2, W2 gebildet ist.; the instrument located in the sick ladder I deflects strongly, while the instrument located in ladder II shows no deflection. The frequency meters of the other groups show small and almost identical deflections. From the behavior of the frequency meter it can be clearly and unambiguously recognized which phase and which branch line has an earth fault. Fig. 3 shows a circuit for connecting the display instrument verango, by means of which the effect of the fundamental wave on the instrument can be switched off. The terminals of the secondary winding of the current transformer are closed a series of self-induction and resonance with the basic frequency Capacity short. In this way, too, the fundamental wave can be removed from the display instrument ίο keep away.
The display device described can also be used by a long, unilaterally fed branch line to recognize the section in which the Earth fault is. If you are also in distant points of the branch line some instruments that show the harmonics are built in, then only those show Instruments a harmonic current, ao which are in the parts of the branch line, which are located between the busbars of the control center and the fault location; about that In addition, the instruments do not knock out, because the residual current to earth faults these conductors parts does not flow through. The instruments distributed in this way are used as relays for switching off is used by the management, then it is advisable to let it work with time division in such a way that that the switching times are the shorter the further the instrument is from the busbars away from the headquarters. The selective properties of the display device can also be used in the case of a more complicated pipe run, only the individual must The arrangement of the instruments should be adapted accordingly.
The \ "advantage of selective recognition lies in the ability to locate the faults quickly and the fault in the shortest possible time to be able to eliminate.
