Durch b tritt kaltes Wasser in der vorgeschriebenen Weise zur Brause, durch a wird ebenfalls ein bestimmtes Quantum Wasser nach dem Badeofen geleitet, während ein entsprechendes, bereits gewärmtes Quantum Wasser aus dem Badeofen durch d in den Durchgang η des Hahnes C tritt und sich in dem Hahn mit dem kalten Wasser mischt. Die Brause empfängt somit gemischtes Wasser; hierbei steht der Zeiger G über der Bezeichnung »Gemischt«.
