Description
Gaszuführung für Verbrennungsmotoren mit sternförmig o. dgl. um eine wagerechte Welle angeordneten Zylindern. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gaszuführung für Verbrennungsmotoren, bei welchen die Zylinder um eine wagerechte Welle sternförmig oder sonstwie, jedenfalls oberhalb und unterhalb der wagerechten Welle, angeordnet sind. Der Erfindung gemäß wird bei derartigen Verbrennungsmotoren die Abzweigstelle der zu den Zylindern führenden Gasverteilungsrohre von der Hauptgasleitung oberhalb der Motorwelle angeordnet. Dies hat den Vorteil, daß die nach oben. führenden Leitungen kürzer werden als die nach unten führenden Leitungen:, so daß also auch die StrÖmungswiderstände bei den nach oben führenden Leitungen geringer sind als die Strömungswiderstände bei den nach unten führenden Leitungen. Bei symmetrischer Anordnung zeigt sich nämlich der Nachteil, daß die entenliegenden Zylinder mehr Brennstoff erhalten als die obenliegenden Zylinder. Dieser Nachteil wird durch den Erfindungsgegenständ beseitigt. Gelegentlich kann es vorteilhaft sein., zu einer weiteren Erhöhung des Strömungswiderstandes in den nach unten führenden Leitungen diese Leitungen gegenüber den nach oben führenden Leitungen zu verengen.
