Eckenbeschlag für Buchdeckel. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Eckenbeschlag
für Ecken von Taschenbüchern u. dgl., der aus einem im Querschnitt U-förmigen Winkelblech
besteht und insofern eine vorteilhafte Neuerung bildet, als die Schenkel des mittleren,
die Ecke bildenden Beschlagbleches parallel verlaufen und nur die mit Zähnen versehenen
Enden, vorzugsweise der äußeren Wand, um die Zahnlänge aus der parallelen Lage abgebogen
sind, zu dem Zweck, den Beschlag ohne starke Formänderungen auf den Deckel aufbringen
zu können. Auf der Zeichnung ist der 'Gegenstand der Erfindung in einigen Ausführungsformen
dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Abb. i die Deckelecke mit dem Metallbeschlag von innen;
gesehen; Abb. a ist eine Ober- oder Außenansicht dazu; Abb. 3 ist ein Schnitt des

Wie die Zeichnung erkennen läßt, besteht der Eckenbeschlag aus einem
Winkelblech 16 mit zwei eine Rinne bildenden Wänden 17 und 18, die über .die Ecke
i 9 des Buchdeckels gelegt werden, so daß die Rinnenwand 18 die Außenseite, die
Wand 17 die Innenseite des Eckbeschlages bildet. Die eine Wand, vornehmlich 18,
besitzt an ihren beiden Enden Vorsprünge, Zähne o. dgl., die in die Deckel. masse
eingetrieben werden. Wie die Abb. i bis 5 zeigen, sind diese Vorsprünge in Form
von Zähnen 2o aus dem Beschlagblech selbst ausgestanzt; in der Ausführung nach Abb.6
bis io treten sie als durch Einbiegung entstandene Randzähne 21 auf, und in den
