Glaskanne mit bogenförmigem Handgriff, einem Deckel und einem Befestigungsring für den Handgriff, wobei der Deckel mit einem an den Handgriff bündig anschließenden Deckelgriff versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der um den eingezogenen Kannenhals (14) herum angeordnete Befestigungs­ ring (16) einen handgriffseitigen Halbring (28) und einen handgriff-fernen Halbring (30) aufweist, die miteinander, den Kannenhals fest umschließend, verbindbar sind, und daß der handgriffseitige Halbring (30) über obere und untere, auf dem Kannenkörper aufliegende Verbindungsteile (12, 20) mit dem oberen und unteren Ende (18, 8) des Handgriffes (4) verbunden ist, dessen unteres Ende (8) sich auf dem Kannen­ bauch (10) abstützt und dessen oberes Ende (18) auf dem Rand (24) der Kannenöffnung (26) aufliegt.1.
