Bei diesem bekannten Verfahren und der bekannten Vorrichtung zu seiner Durchführung verläuft das körperferne Haltemittel 1 immer in einem Bereich, in dem ein für die Bewegung der Hand wichtiger Nerv am Oberarmknochen liegt. Es handelt sich hierbei um den Nervus radialis. Diese Knochenvorspünge, Epicondyli, sind von der Hautoberfläche vom behandelnden Arzt sicher zu ertasten und er kann so beim Einsetzen der Haltemittel 1 die Epicondyli nicht verfehlen.
