Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for filling a Liquid container, in particular a motor vehicle river liquid container before delivery of the vehicle a manufacturing facility, the liquid level with means of a dipstick is measurable and as precise as possible a mark between a minimum mark and one Maximum mark should be.
A motor vehicle liquid container, the liquid speed level can be measured by means of a dipstick for example, the oil pan drive the vehicle the internal combustion engine. Are on the dipstick markings, with the help of which the later groove zer of the motor vehicle the oil level in the oil pan in be control arbitrary time intervals in a simple way can. The oil level should already be on delivery of the Vehicle from a manufacturing facility as accurately as possible have a defined level. Tolerances in the individual Components can, however, cause themselves same vehicles of a series different rivers liquid levels, although always the same amount of Liquid or engine oil is filled.
A reliable one, suitable for large series use To demonstrate procedures by means of which a liquid simply fill the tank to an exact level can be, is the object of this invention. To the solution this task are the characteristic features of the he Most claim provided.
A solution to the further task, a particularly ge suitable device for performing this method specify is described in claim 3.
According to the liquid level in the liquid container to the desired level by first put a little more liquid into the container is filled than is actually required and at then this excess amount is suctioned off again becomes. A special suction device is used Use that instead of the dipstick in the liquid container is inserted so that dimensional deviations resulting from Component tolerances result, automatically compensated will. The suction device is supported identically like the dipstick, for example on a dipstick guide pipe. By the suction opening of the suction device is exactly at the desired level now with the commissioning of the suction device exactly sucked off enough liquid until the liquid level has reached this desired level. If the Ab Suction device, for example, from the dipstick guide Removed pipe and inserted the dipstick instead leads, so the identical and ge Desirably the same level is displayed.
As already mentioned, must be successful for suction of course, first of all a filling via the ge desired level beyond that. Furthermore recommends it is for the series application of the procedure described rens to operate the suction device only for as long ben, as is actually suctioned off. As a result to provide a device that detects whether the suction device sucks in liquid or air.
In this way, the method according to the invention also differs considerably from the known state of the art, for example as the DE 32 18 149 C1. Even with this well-known State of the art is a liquid level by a geometrically adapted suction device on a con kept constant level, but this takes place knew a continuous liquid device drove so that the problem that instead of liquid air is sucked in, does not result there.
To prevent yourself from sucking off the liquid builds up vacuum in the liquid container, should a pressure equalization option to the environment pressure should be provided. The suction device is located with a so-called probe head close to the dipstick guide to a precise stop surface analogous to the then describe the removed dipstick, it is recommended a ventilation opening for pressure in the probe head provide for compensation. That attaches to the probe head closing suction pipe of the suction device is in his Shape adjusted to the target level, d. H. owns special one or more suction openings at this level Target level. In addition, a Filling device to be integrated to the suction previous filling of the liquid container to ver simple. Finally - as already explained - monitored during suction whether in place of a liquid in the essential air is sucked in. A light barrier, this can be provided in particular in the probe head and detect air, for example in the form of bubbles.
A preferred design is based on a schematic diagram Example of the invention described.
A liquid container 1 , in particular an oil pan from a motor vehicle, is to be filled before delivery from a production facility, with a defined liquid level 2 to be achieved as precisely as possible. This can be liquid level 2 can be measured by means of a non-ge showed dipstick, the dipstick into a Füh extension tube 3 is inserted and it rests with a stop surface defined on the flange 3a of the sounding rod-guide tube. 3 Typically, target marks are in this dipstick not shown specified for the liquid level 2, in the accompanying drawing this desired markings are transferred to the dipstick guide pipe 3 and in the form of a minimum and a maximum mark 4 a mark 4 shown b.
In order to achieve exact filling up to the specified liquid level 2 in a simple manner, regardless of component tolerances, the procedure is as follows:
First, liquid is introduced into the liquid container 1 in a manner not shown until the actual liquid level is at least slightly above the desired level 2 . Subsequently, the suction pipe 5 a egg ner suction device 5 is inserted through the dipstick guide tube 3 into the liquid container 1 . The suction tube 5 a is positioned by the probe head 5 b of the suction device 5 , which comes to rest with its stop surface 6 on the flange 3 a of the dipstick guide tube 3 . The suction pipe 5 a and the adjoining probe head 5 b are geometrically dimensioned such that suction openings 7 in the suction pipe 5 a come exactly to the level of the desired liquid speed level 2 .
At the probe head 5 b, a line 8 connects, which finally opens via a suction pump 9 in an oil reservoir 10 ter 10 . When the suction pump 9 is started up, liquid is now drawn off from the liquid container 1 via the suction device 5 until the actual level is slightly below the suction openings 7 and thus exactly the level of the desired liquid level 2 is sufficient. With further operation of the suction pump 9 le diglich air is sucked in. To prevent this, that the liquid container 1 is evacuated, is in the probe head 5 b, a ventilation opening 11 is provided which enables a pressure equalization in the container. 1 Furthermore, a light barrier 12 is installed in line 8 , with the aid of which it can be recognized whether liquid or air is being sucked off. Detects this light barrier 12 in wesentli Chen air bubbles, the suction pump 9 is switched off, since it can be concluded that the desired liquid level 2 is reached.
With the described method and the device particularly suitable for this purpose, the same liquid level 2 can be achieved in a simple manner on a number of similar liquid containers 1 . It is only necessary to provide a suction device 5 adapted to this type of liquid container 1 . Of course, the entire process can run electronically controlled automatically. It may be necessary to provide a certain period of time between the filling and the closing suction in order to ensure complete accumulation or distribution of the filled liquid in the liquid container 1 . Of course, an additional time control can also be provided, with the aid of which it can be known whether there is liquid in the liquid container 1 at all. At a certain point in time after the start of suction, there should be no air bubbles in the probe line. Furthermore, a large number of deviations from the embodiment shown are possible, which continue to fall under the content of the claims. For example, the suction pipe 5 a of the suction device 5 can also be flexible. Also, the filling of the liquid keitsbehälters 1 can also be done, for example, via the suction device 5 , for which purpose the conveying direction of the suction pump 9 can be reversible. In this case, the liquid to be filled into the container 1 would be removed from the storage container 10 .
