Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-circuit protection valve according to the Genus of the main claim. Such multi-circuit protection valves are included Compressed air braking systems of motor vehicles in front of the air tanks ordered, from which the various brake circuits of the brake system be supplied with compressed air. Two of these brake circuits are the Be drive brake circuits, other consumer circuits are the locking brake circuit and a secondary consumer circuit.
An amendment to an EC directive now provides that during refilling the brake system with compressed air from one pressure value zero on spring-loaded brakes must not be released until the Pressure in the service brake circuits is sufficiently high to reach bela ensure the vehicle that the service brake at least applies the auxiliary braking effect. This requirement means that the both service brake circuits must be filled up first.
It is already such a multi-circuit protection valve (DE 25 53 818 A1) known, when you opened the overflow valves, the operation continued Brake circuits is supported by the valve closing member of this Overflow valves also pressurized through the bypass line becomes. Due to the larger, secondary egg compared to the sealing surface effective area of the valve closing element, the opening pressure drops of the relief valves faster, so that through higher air flow a preferential filling of the service brake circuits over the other circles is achieved. A check valve in each Bypass line prevents the Supply pressure in intact circles to zero bar pressure.
In this known embodiment, however, the filling prepares a brake system with a leak from zero bar pressure Difficulties, since compressed air is not only in the defective circuit Overflow valve but also flows through the bypass line. In In unfavorable cases, the delivery volume of the compressed air providing air compressor is not sufficient to one for the Open the overflow valve of the intact circles of sufficient jam pressure to build. A counteracting downsizing of the Throttle cross-sections in the bypass line, however, have limits.
The multi-circuit protection valve according to the invention with the characteristic Features of the main claim has the advantage that a Outflow of compressed air through the bypass line of a defective Be drive brake circuit is automatically prevented. Intact Be drive brake circuit, however, the bypass line remains permeable, so that the compressed air required by the air compressor continues to open the overflow valve of this circuit supports and a filling of the circle.
The measures listed in the subclaims provide for partial training and improvements in the main claim specified multi-circuit protection valve possible.
Es zeigenTwo embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing simply represented and in the description below he purifies. Show it
Fig. 1 as a first embodiment of a circuit diagram of a centrally flocked four-circuit protection valve having to overflow valves of the service brake circuits arranged in parallel pass lines with controlled switching valve, Fig. 2 as a second embodiment of a circuit diagram similar to FIG. 1, but with paired succession circuit of overflow valves, and Fig. 3 a section of a protective valve with block-indicated overflow valve with bypass line in which a controlled Schaltven valve with throttle and a check valve are arranged.
The reproduced as a circuit diagram in Fig. 1 first Ausführungsbei play a multi-circuit protection valve 10 drove compressed air braking systems, in particular of motor vehicles, having an indicated with a dash-dot formatted trace housing 11 disposed in the four overflow valves 12 to 15 having limited backflow and secondary-side influencing are. The four-circuit protection valve 10 is connected to an air compressor, not shown, via an input connection 16 , from which a central line 17 extends within the housing 11 , from which four line branches 18 to 21 branch off. The overflow valve 12 is located in the line branch 18 , which is connected to a service brake circuit I, not shown, of the brake system. The overflow valve 13 is arranged in the line branch 19 , to which the second operating brake circuit II, which is also not shown, is connected. The line branch 20 is connected to a parking brake circuit III (auxiliary brake circuit), not shown. The overflow valve 14 is located in the line branch 20 . Finally, the overflow valve 15 of the four-circuit protection valve 10 is arranged in the line branch 21 , to which an auxiliary consumer circuit IV is connected. The circles 111 and IV are also not shown.
The service brake circuits I and II are to be filled primarily before the other circuits III and IV when filling an unpressurized multi-circuit brake system. For this purpose, the overflow valves 12 and 13 assigned to the service brake circuits I and II are set to a lower opening pressure than the overflow valves 14 and 15 assigned to the other circuits. In addition, the following measures have been taken to achieve a faster opening of the overflow valves 12 and 13 :
II.Both overflow valves 12 and 13 of circuits I and II are bridged by a bypass line 24 and 25 , respectively. In the outgoing from the Zen tralleitung 17 bypass lines 24 , 25 are each in the flow direction successively one switching valve 26 and 27 with throttle 26 'and 27 ' and one series check valve 28 and 29 are arranged. As indicated by dashed lines, the throttles 26 'and 27 ' can also be arranged separately from the switching valves 26 and 27 in the bypass lines 24 and 25 . The Rückschlagven tile 28 , 29 open in the direction of the central line 17 to the respective service brake circuit I or II.
II zugeordneten Bypassleitung 24 bzw. 25 in Verbindung steht. I aufge füllten Luftdruck. The switching valves 26 , 27 have a spring-operated passage position a, in which they develop a throttling effect. In a switching position, the blocking position b, the switching valves 26 , 27 block the bypass line 24 or 25 . The switching valves 26 , 27 are compressed air actuated against spring force in their locking position b transfer bar. For this purpose, they have an actuating means c, which is connected to the bypass line 24 or 25 assigned to the other circuits I or II by a control line 30 or 31 . That is, the control line 30 of the switching valve 26 is connected between the return check valve and the connection of the bypass line 25 to the line branch 19 to the bypass line 25 , while the control line 31 of the throttle valve 27 between the check valve 28 and the connection of the bypass line 24 to the line branch 18 is connected. As will be explained later, the switching valve 26 and 27 is subject to the air pressure filled in the other brake circuit II and I, respectively.
For the second exemplary embodiment of a four-circuit protection valve 40 shown in FIG. 2, if the elements are the same, the same reference numbers are used as in the first exemplary embodiment.
44 liegt. While the four-circuit protection valve 10 of FIG. 1 is one having a central inflow, the four shown in Fig. 2 circuit protection valve 40 has in each case 12 and 14 or 13 and 15 connected to pressure relief valves in pairs in succession. The protective valve 40 has a central line 17 , from which only two line branches 18 and 19 branch off. In the branch line 18 which is the loading service brake circuit I associated spill valve 12 for the branch line 19, the overflow valve 13 is net angeord for the service brake circuit II. After the respective overflow valve 12 or 13 , a line 41 or 42 , in each of which a check valve 43 or 44 is located, extends from the corresponding line branch 18 or 19 . After the return check valve 43 , the parking brake circuit III associated overflow valve 14 is arranged in line 41 ; in a corresponding manner, the overflow valve 15 assigned to the secondary consumer circuit IV lies in line 42 . Between the respective Rückschlagven valve 43 and 44 and the associated overflow valve 14 and 15 , the two lines 41 and 42 are connected to each other by a compensating line 45 . Otherwise, the four-circuit protection valve 40 has an identical configuration as in the first exemplary embodiment ( FIG. 1) to the overflow valves 12 , 13 assigned bypass lines 24 , 25 with switching valves 26 , 27 arranged therein in series with throttles 26 ', 27 ' and check valves 28 , 29 and Steuerlei lines 30 , 31 for actuating the switching valves.
In Fig. 3 structurally greatly simplified solutions for the overflow valve 13 , the switching valve 27 and the check valve 29 are shown in a section of the indicated housing 11 of the four-circuit protection valve 10 or 40 . It goes without saying that the valves mentioned are integrated into the housing 11 with a structural design.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2 are connection also in Fig. 3 the input 16, the central line 17 of the spill valve 13 for the service brake circuit II containing conduit branch 19, the bypass line 25 to the overflow valve 13 having disposed therein Schaltven til 27 and check valve 29 and the two control lines 30 and 31 indicated.
The overflow valve 13 has a cup-shaped valve closing member 50 , which is loaded by a prestressed compression spring 51 . The valve closing member 50 is supported in the rest position shown on a valve seat 52 . The valve closing member 50 and the valve seat 52 separate a primary side 53 lying in the course of the line branch 19 from a secondary side 54 of the overflow valve 13 . The valve seat 52 delimits a primary-side sealing surface 55 (primary surface) defined by the diameter D1, while the valve closing member 50 has a secondary-side active surface 56 (secondary surface) indicated by the diameter D2. The overflow valve 13 and the structurally identical overflow valves 12 , 14 and 15 of the four-circuit protection valves 10 or 40 have, due to this measurement of the primary-side sealing surface 55 and the secondary-side active surface 56, a characteristic referred to as secondary-side influencing, ie when overflow of compressed air from the primary side to the On the secondary side, a force on the valve closing member 50 that supports the opening of the overflow valve 13 is built up, due to this force the opening pressure of the overflow valve drops.
The switching valve 27 arranged in the bypass line 25 is designed as a seat valve. The switching valve 27 has a throttle 27 'embodying bore 60 , which can be closed by a plunger 61 with a seal 62 . In the position shown, the plunger 61 releases the throttle bore 60 , so that the switching valve 27 assumes the throttling passage position a indicated in FIG. 1. The plunger 61 serving as a valve closing member carries at its end facing away from the seal 62 a piston plate 64 which is received in a sealed manner in a cylinder space 63 . The piston plate 64 is under the action of a compression spring 65 arranged in the cylinder space 63 , which tries to keep the switching valve 27 in the drawn open position a. On the side of the piston plate 64 facing away from the spring, there is a control chamber 66 in the cylinder space 63 as actuating means c for the switching valve 27 . The control chamber 66 is through the control line 31 with the bypass line 24 of the overflow valve 12 for the service brake circuit I in connection ( Fig. 1). By acting on the piston plate 64 with compressed air introduced into the control chamber 66 , the switching valve 27 can be switched into the blocking position b in which the seal 62 on the plunger 61 seals the throttle bore 60 tightly.
The check valve 29 in the bypass line 25 has a closing ball 70 . This acts on a valve seat 72 under the action of a closing spring 71 . In its open position a engaging switching valve 27 , the check valve 29 can flow through pressure build-up in the bypass line 25 in the direction of the central line 17 to the operating brake circuit II. In the opposite direction, the check valve 29 shuts off the bypass line 25 .
25 vom Druck in den Betriebsbremskreisen I bzw. For a priority filling of the service brake circuits I and II with compressed air delivered by the air compressor, the overflow valves 12 and 13 of the four-circuit protection valve 10 ( FIG. 1) are set with a lower opening pressure than the overflow valve 14 for the parking brake circuit III and the overflow valve 15 for the secondary consumption circuit IV. The opening of the overflow valves 12 and 13 is also supported by the fact that compressed air flows to the secondary side 54 of the corresponding overflow valve through the respective bypass line 24 or 25 at its passage position a, the switching valve 26 or 27 . Due to this over the overflow valves 14 and 15 rapid pressure build-up caused on the secondary side 54 of the overflow valves 12 and 13, the more rapid opening of the relief valves 12 and 13 and therefore, a primary filling of the service brake circuits I and II. Approaching by the secondary-side embedding flussung to the opened overflow valves 12 and 13 , reducing the opening pressure to the backup pressure, which is the resulting pressure in the supplying air compressor and a leaky circuit of the brake system, so the respective switching valve 26 or 27 in the bypass lines 24 or 25 will be below this backup pressure switched from the pressure in the service brake circuits I or II to the blocking position b. A request for compressed air bypassing the overflow valves 12 and 13 in the service brake circuits I and II is thus prevented. This means that in the event of a service brake circuit having a leak, an uncontrolled outflow of compressed air through the corresponding bypass line from the defective operating brake circuit to the outside is prevented.
When refilling a defective system from zero bar pressure, compressed air can flow unused through the bypass line 25 and the overflow valve 13 in the event of a large leak in the service brake circuit II. In the case of an air compressor with a small delivery volume, an inadequate back pressure builds up in front of the remaining overflow valves 12 , 14 , 15 set to a higher opening pressure, which is not sufficient to open these overflow valves. However, since a pressure builds up in the intact service brake circuit I on the secondary side of the overflow valve 12 through the bypass line 24 , the opening pressure drops and the service brake circuit I is filled when the back pressure is sufficient to open via the overflow valve 12 . When a pressure in the service brake circuit I below the safety pressure is reached, the switching valve 27 of the defective service brake circuit II is switched from the let-through position a to the blocking position b via the control line 31 . As a result, the switching valve 27 blocks the bypass line 25 , so that a further loss of air pressure through this line is prevented. Depending on the level of the opening pressure, only a small amount of compressed air can now flow outside via the overflow valve 13 . In contrast, since pressure cannot build up in the defective service brake circuit II due to the leak, the switching valve 26 assigned to the service brake circuit I in the bypass line 24 remains in its open position a and supports the opening of the overflow valve 12 . Conversely, a backflow of compressed air from the service brake circuit I through the bypass line 24 and further through the line branch 19 and a possibly opened overflow valve 13 through the check valve 28 in the bypass line 24 is prevented. By shutting off the bypass line 25 in the defective service brake circuit II, the dynamic pressure rises in front of the overflow valves 14 and 15 of the parking brake circuit II and the secondary consumer circuit IV set to a higher opening pressure, so that these can also be filled up.
