Die Erfindung betrifft ein zerlegbares Ruhebett mit Sonnendach und besteht darin, daß zum Verstellen des um die Längsmittellinie schwingenden Daches zwei Zugschnüre angebracht sind, deren jede mit den Enden an zwei diagonal gegenüberliegenden Ecken des Daches angreift und an einer Stirn- und einer Längsseite des Bettes entlang geführt ist, so daß ein gleichmäßiges Verstellen des Sonnendaches durch Ziehen an der Mittelbahn der einen oder der anderen Schnur geschehen kann, ohne daß der Ruhende seine Lage verändert. Das in seinen Einzelteilen an sich bekannte Ruhebett weist den Vorzug auf, daß die er as forderliche Verstellbarkeit des Daches in bequemster Weise erreicht wird. Diese Verstellung ist erforderlich, damit der auf dem Bette Liegende je nach Wunsch das Dach so stellen kann, daß er entweder Sonne oder Schatten hat. Die seitliche Verstellbarkeit ist schematisch in Abb. 3 gezeigt. Das Sonnendach ν ruht auf einer in seiner Längsmitte angeordneten Leiste s, deren Enden drehbar auf am Bettgestell befestigten Stützen/* gelagert sind. An den vier Ecken des Sonnendaches ν ist je eine öse Jr₁, X₂, x_s und X₄ vorgesehen. In diese ösen sind die Enden eines Schnurzuges Vnittels Karabinerhaken y eingehängt. Dieser besteht aus zwei einzelnen Schnüren S_x und Z₂. Diese verlaufen wechselseitig, und zwar Z₁ von der öse.ar₈ herunter durch die am Eckpfosten α angebrachte öse 2_£, von da an der Längsseite des Ruhebettes entlang bis zum Eckpfosten a am anderen Ende, dort durch eine öse 2₆, dann nach dem anderen gegenüberliegenden Pfosten a, durch die öse 2_α bis hinauf zu der darüberliegenden Ecke des Daches, wo sie an der öse X₁ endet.
