Abstract

The auxiliary power source has a dynamo (3,3a) which is mounted on each end of a shaft and rotated with it. Each dynamo, e.g., charges a 12-volt battery. Three or more such bladed shafts with the dynamos and batteries provide the second power plant in the mobile vehicle. An approximately one metre long, 10-15 cm wide surface under the bladed shaft covers the wind produced by the air resistance, and conducts the wind to the upper half of the bladed shaft, and can act to block the travel wind. USE/ADVANTAGE - Auxiliary power plant. For travel in cities. Prim. petrol or diesel engine can be switched off to reduce pollution. Dynamo batteries can be re-charged by switching on engine.

Description

The following device serves to use the air resistance (i.e. driving wind) that opposes the motor vehicle when driving:
an approximately 1 m long shaft running on 2 ball bearings ( FIG. 1), the shaft of which is equipped with 3 or more scoop-shaped blades ( FIG. 2), is driven to high revolutions by the driving wind.

B. 12 Volt-Batterie laden. On both ends of the shaft a rotating dynamo is mounted ( Fig. 3), which in turn each a z.

With this second power plant it is possible in localities (small and large cities) to those there legally prescribed low driving speeds to drive electrically when the fuel engine is switched off, without petrol and diesel fuel.

1 m long, 10-15 cm wide area below the winged wave covers the driving wind and directs the driving wind to the upper half of the winged wave ( Fig. 4).

If the battery pack is exhausted, the fuel engine must be switched on, and the driving wind is automatically charged the winged wave with the dynamos the batteries again.
