Description
The present invention relates to a rail vehicle Axle arrangement of traditional design, in whose structure a detector inte is grated for detecting the speed of the wheel (in the case of carriages wheels with independent wheels) or the wheels (in the case of the traditional Rigid bridge subframe), which wheel or wheels are firmly on the axle Zen.
As is known, the problem of preventing the blocking occurs Wheels when braking with the resulting loss of adhesion not only on road vehicles, but also on modern high-rise vehicles speed trains. For this reason, anti-lock braking systems that are so called ABS facilities, developed on rail vehicle carriages can be used with which tractors and wagons are equipped. As is well known, such subframes typically use a pair of axles, each of which carries a pair of wheels. Who in rigid bridge subframes which the two wheels are each carried by a single shaft on one ih rer ends, and the shaft is freely rotatable supported by appropriate Supp place by means of a suspension system with shock absorbing arms the support structure of the subframe are connected, which in turn with the Waggon or the tractor is connected. In subframes with independent Wheels, on the other hand, each wheel of each axis is ge of its own shaft wear, which is so complained that it is through an assigned support extends; these are from suspension arms as in the previous case carried.
In both types of subframes, the speed of the wheel is increased detects by means of a sensor in a fixed position in front of a gear is arranged, which is known as "phonetic wheel" or "impulse ring" and consists of magnetic material and is connected to the shaft. By The shaft runs around a sequence of empty spaces and fixed sections, determined by the presence of the teeth of the phonic wheel one after the other in front of the front of the coil and causes the generation of a variable electrical signal across their terminals, the frequency of this Sig is proportional to the number of teeth in front of the sensor Run time unit over and therefore the speed of the wheel or wheels is proportional to the shaft along with the phonetic wheel are steady. The signal generated by the sensor is then from a central processed electronic processing unit by comparing the same with signals generated by other wheels of the subframe, is able to detect a wheel lock phenomenon during braking NEN and consequently the braking device in a corresponding manner Taxes.
However, the arrangement described is not free from disadvantages. In particular, the sensors and the associated phonic wheels are bulky and difficult to adjust. Assembly is expensive because it is necessary is a perfect centering between the sensor, which is usually from the cover for the shaft bearing housing is carried, and the phonic wheel to manufacture, which is carried by the shaft, otherwise the system gives bad results. After all, the sensors have a low one Sensitivity at low speeds, so that the ABS system of the Train speeds below 5 to 7 km / h can not capture.
The object of the invention is a rail vehicle axle arrangement to create a structure that integrates a detector for the detection Solution the speed of the shaft carries or in other words the rotating Component with which the wheels are connected, in such a way that the Pro space and assembly problems described above, elimi be kidneyed. There should be the possibility that an effective signal is generated even at low speeds.
The solution of this task provided according to the invention results from the content of patent claim 1.
For a better understanding of the invention, a description follows below description of an embodiment with reference to the accompanying Drawings, this embodiment only as a the scope of protection Non-limiting example is to be understood.
Fig. 1 ist eine Teilschnittdarstellung eines Endabschnitts einer Schienenfahrzeug-Achsanordnung gemäß der Erfindung und Fig. 1 is a partial sectional view of an end portion of a railway vehicle axle assembly according to the invention and
FIGS. 2 to 4 1 illustrate different embodiments of a component of the axle assembly of FIG..
In Fig. 1, a rail vehicle axle assembly is generally designated 1 and has an essentially known overall structure, of which only one end section is therefore illustrated for simplicity. The axle assembly 1 comprises a stationary part, in the present example a support 2 , which is fastened to a rail vehicle subframe in a known and not shown for the sake of simplicity, which in turn can be connected to a wagon or a tractor, also known and not for simplification and a rotating component, in the present example a shaft 3 , of which only the section near one end 4 is illustrated. This end is located in a seat 5 which is formed in the support 2 ; the shaft 3 carries in a simplification not shown known manner at least one with her verbun denes wheel and is freely rotatably supported by the support 2 by means of at least one rolling element bearing 6 , which has an inner ring 7 , which is rotatably connected to the shaft 3 is, for example by a press fit, on this an outer ring 8 , which is fixedly connected to the support 2 and is mounted in the seat 5 and comprises a plurality of rolling elements 9 , which are arranged between the rings 7 , 8 . For example, the shaft 3 can be carried on a pair of tapered roller bearings facing away from one another by a roller bearing ring or by a single tapered roller bearing with two rings of rollers. The seat 5 is closed by a cover 10 , which is fastened in a known manner, not shown, to the support 2 , for example by means of screws, and at the end 4 or more precisely at the end 10 facing the cover outside the seat 5 Sealing assembly 12 of the generally known labyrinth type.
Specifically, the seal assembly 12 includes a first rigid screen 15 which is fixed and centered on a spacer ring 16 which is mounted centrally on the end 4 and is held in contact with the inner ring 7 by an axial locking element which is rigid from the end 4 is carried and is formed by a disc 18 which is attached to the end side of the shaft 3 by means of screws 19 , and a second rigid screen 20 which is secured in a known manner directly on the outer ring 8 ge. The screen 15 is formed by a ring element which is dial-sectioned in Ra C-shaped, the concave side facing the spacer ring and which is clamped between the latter and the inner ring 7 of the bearing so that it is fixed axially and in the angular direction with the shaft 3 is connected. The screen 20 on the other hand is formed by a Ringele element, which is U-shaped in radial section and is completed by a radially outwardly pointing annular extension 22 with an L-shaped cross, which is coupled to the ring 8 , for example in a seat 23 of the the latter is crimped. In this way, the screen 20 is fixed axially and in the angular direction to the ring 8 and arranged with its concave side facing the screen 15 . This and the screen 20 also partially interlock axially, in this way to form a labyrinth seal between them, which is suitable for protecting the rolling elements 9 against external contaminants, such as water and dust, which penetrate into the seat 2 can and simultaneously keep any lubricant between the rings 7 , 8 in contact with the rolling elements 9th In the example shown, a radially outer ring section 25 of the screen 15 is inserted with play into the concave side of the screen 20 , while a radially inner ring section 26 of the latter engages with play into the concave side of the screen 15 , specifically in the annular space between the section 25 and the ring 16 , which partially engages in the concave side of the screen 15 and consequently essentially lies opposite the section 25 . In this way, a substantially sealed chamber 28 is formed between the rings 7 , 8 and the screens 15 , 20 in the seat 5 , which is the concave side of the screen 20 facing.
According to the invention and as can also be seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, the sealing assembly 12 further comprises a ring element 30 which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the shaft 4 or, more precisely, is provided with the rotating component of the axle assembly 1 and with a plurality of discontinuity zones is, in the present case in the form of permanently magnetized zones of substantially the same width, which are arranged in the circumferential direction with a substantially constant pitch. Within the seat 5 and close to this annular element 30 , a known sensor 31 is arranged, which is statio nary worn on the fixed part of the axle assembly 1 , ie on the support 2 , and is designed to be activated by the passage of the magnetized zones for the generation of a periodic signal with a frequency proportional to the number of such zones, which run past the sensor in the time unit. In the specific example shown, the ring member 30 is carried by the circular portion 25 of the screen 15 on the side facing the portion 22 of the screen 20 , while the sensor 31 is carried by and is enclosed by the latter within the concave side thereof an axial position corresponding to that of the element 30 , but sets radially outwards relative to this ver. Finally, both the element 30 and the sensor 31 are housed within the sealed chamber 28 in close proximity to one another, and the element 30 can rotate freely together with the screen 15 , the rings 7 , 16 and the shaft 3 relative to the sensor 31 , who in turn remains stationary with the ring 8 and the support 2 .
A possible embodiment of the element 30 is shown in Figure 2, where it consists of bipolar magnetized zones 33 and 34 , the al ternary limit the north pole zones 33 and the south pole zones 34 ; In this case, a sensor 31 of the known magnetoresistant type or preferably of the Hall effect type is used in the axle assembly 1 . According to two further possible variants, which are shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, instead of being bipolarly magnetized, the element 30 can only be formed with unipolar magnetized zones, for example only zones 33 , which all define north poles ( FIG. 3) or also only zones 34 , which all define south poles ( Fig. 4), in this case the zones 33 (or 34 ) are formed so that they are spaced apart in the circumferential direction and accordingly separated from each other by non-magnetized zones 35 , whereby the desired discontinuity is realized; In these variants, a sensor 31 of the Hall effect type or preferably of the magnetoresistive type is used, all of which are known in the prior art.
In the preferred embodiment, the element 30 is carried out in irgen your that illustrated in Fig. 2 to 4 molding using a rubber which is filled with a magnetizable material, such as metal or oxide, or alloy powders of permanent-magnetic material, which has been treated with known molding techniques are, for example injection molding or pressing. Alternatively, a plastic material can also be used with a filler, as described above, or the element 30 can also be completely formed by sintering, starting from magnetic powder materials. Once in the form of a ring, the element 30 can be firmly connected to the section 25 radially outside of this, for example by gluing during a vulcanization step according to known techniques. In a possible variant, which is not shown for the sake of simplicity, however, the element 30 can also be made in one piece with the screen 15 and in this case can be formed by the section 25 itself. In any case, the permanently magnetized zones 33 , 34 are obtained again using the same techniques which are well known and are therefore not described here for the sake of simplicity; it may suffice to point out that these techniques include the step of exposing the magnetized zones to intense local magnetic fields so as to cause magnetization by the magnetic hysteresis effect. In all cases, the sensor 31 is mounted on the screen 20 , and a cable 40 is provided for the transmission of the signal generated by it, which extends from the screen 20 on the outside of the chamber 28 and is accommodated in the support 2 .
In use, the rotation of the wheels of the train causes the shaft 3 and consequently the screen 15 to rotate, while on the other hand the screen 20 does not rotate because it is attached to the support 2 . As a result, the screen 15 , which, as described, is coaxial with the screen 20 rotates relative to it and within the concave part thereof, which on the one hand brings about a hydraulic sealing effect and on the other hand the zones 33 , 34 past the sensor 31 . If a Hall effect sensor is used ver, this is provided from the outside with a suitable known electronic circuit, not shown for simplicity, and behaves like a switch that opens and closes each time a zone 33 and then a zone 34 runs past or vice versa. Under all conditions and therefore even at very low rotational speeds, it produces a pulsating signal of constant amplitude, the frequency of which is a function of the speed of shaft 3 and can therefore be calculated by a suitable circuit and, for example, by means of the cable 40 transmitted to a central control unit can be, which belongs to a green ABS known simplification not shown ABS unit. In the case of a magnetoresistive sensor, the end result is the same (testimony of a signal with a frequency proportional to the speed of the screen 15 and an intensity that is always high and easy to detect), but changes to the required electronic control and detection circuits are required, which are different and are known in both cases and can be arranged outside the seat 5 or can also be miniaturized and can be attached directly to the screen 20 with the sensor 31 .
The advantages of the invention result from the above. The cost and assembly problems and space requirements result from the presence of the phonic wheels mounted on the end 4 of the shaft 3 and electromagnetic sensors mounted on the cover 10 , as in the prior art arrangements, are completely eliminated . The detector, consisting of element 30 and sensor 31 , is namely integrated in a sealed unit 12 from small dimensions, which would be required in any case for reasons of protection for the bearing 6 .
Likewise, the problems associated with the labor costs required to ensure that the sensor is properly positioned relative to the phonetic element are eliminated; According to the invention, these are carried by two umbrellas, which must already be positioned correctly for sealing purposes, and therefore the centering provided by the rings 8 and 16 is used. Finally, a system is proposed that is capable of accurately measuring the speed even at low speeds.
If necessary, the discontinuity zones, which are for the Operation of the sensor are required, also defined by empty zones, the alternate with filled zones (empty spaces / teeth) each magnetized or not as with the traditional impulse rings.
