Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrzeugantenne in Form einer Schlitzantenne. The invention relates to a vehicle antenna in the form of a Slot antenna.
Slot antennas in connection with vehicles are for example from EP-A-2 61 762, EP-A-3 75 415, EP-A-3 82 901 and DE-U-89 13 811.2 known. In the body, for example into the body roof, into the doors, on the side panels, in the Front or rear of the vehicle are to create a Slot antenna cut slots or entire cutouts, where the antenna signals be in the for slot antennas known tapped and a radio receiving circuit be forwarded. The disadvantage here is the fact that the actual body parts specially shaped or with a Slot must be provided, so that the manufacturing cost are high, and a subsequent installation is not or only with high effort is possible. In addition, it is for reasons the corrosion resistance and lifespan of a vehicle desired incisions, slots or cutouts in the To provide body parts that only require a lot of effort with regard to the treatment and application corrosion-proof resistant layers to ensure long-term rust protection.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a vehicle to create an antenna in the form of a slot antenna that both in terms of manufacturing and assembly costs, as well with regard to easy adaptability to different emp conditions are very advantageous and possibly also subsequently in finished motor vehicles in a simple manner can be provided.
The task is solved in that the slot tenne through a gap between parts of the vehicle body is formed. According to the invention is therefore to create a Slot antenna only the natural, already existing one Gap between parts of the vehicle body used. in the Contrary to conventional vehicle antennas in the form of a Slot antenna, it is possible with the invention, the body Rieteile completely unaffected, so that the Her positional effort for such slot antennas extraordinary is low. Especially in columns occur due to resonance fect high field strengths that are stronger for the derivation Antenna signals can be used.
According to the invention, any slot can be used for the slot antenna between parts of the vehicle body, for example also a gap between fixed parts of the vehicle body such as gaps between the fenders and the vehicle compartment be exploited. According to a particularly advantageous Ausge staltung of the invention, however, it is very useful Slot antenna through a gap between a rigid driving test cell on the one hand and a movable body part, for example a door, the trunk lid or the engine hood to form on the other. Since such a gap anyway is present is the creation of slot antennas on this Way and the derivation of suitable antenna signals particularly easy. The antenna signal is tapped between the rigid vehicle cell and the moving diamond series part. Between two points across the gap can thereby antenna signals with very high antennas degree of efficiency can be tapped. By appropriate position The taps can also be source impedances be realized which is a very good adaptation to a high allow frequency line so that matching networks and there is no need for active components to compensate for the loss of adjustment.
According to a further very advantageous embodiment of the Invention is the slot's antenna signal tap point tenne at an electrical contact between the gap body parts provided. After closing the be movable body parts, such as the trunk decoration kels or the doors, contact is made between the electrical contacts from which the antenna signal is tapped will. By using an electrical contact ensures that the operation and function of the movable body parts by the presence of a Slot antenna is not affected.
It is not necessary that the movable body part, such as the trunk lid or a door, completely electric is isolated from the rest of the vehicle compartment. They lead the connections, such as hinges or locks, if they are radio frequency effective, ideally one Short circuit represents, and thus lead to a defined Stromver division around the gap and to a defined field distribution in the gap. The ideal case of a short circuit across the share However, kidney and / or locks are usually not opposed because a hinge or a lock is an undefined, represents little reproducible impedance, so that thereby defined antenna function of the gap can be affected can. This is one of the reasons why another embodiment of the invention in addition to the elec trical contact of the antenna signal tap a short final connection between the diamonds forming the gap series parts provided. This is a defined, repro ducable connection ensured and by a thereby The defined impedance achieved also results in a repro inducible clear antenna function of the gap.
It is special in connection with a short-circuit connection ders advantageous that this via an electrical contact is formed. This also enables, like the electrical con clock for the antenna signal tap point also a free, unhindered use and function of the movable body parts with full functionality of the slot antenna. As an electrical contact for the short-circuit connection, the same electrical contact as for the antenna signal Ab handle point can be used. The only difference is only in that in the case of a short-circuit connection the contact springs are connected to the body parts are while in the case of an antenna signal tap point High-frequency connector with the electrical contact connected is.
The slot antenna can vary depending on the conditions of the body rail parts are curved, but also linear. In both cases it is particularly advantageous if the short-circuit contacts so be attached to the place where the antenna sig nal is tapped, one for the power adjustment to one High-frequency line or to an amplifier input especially there is a favorable impedance. In the case of a linear slot antenna is the distance between the tap point and the Short-circuit connection preferably essentially a quarter Operating frequency wavelength. In the case of a non-linea Ren slot antenna is the distance between the tap point and Short circuit connection according to the optimization criterion choose, namely a particularly favorable impedance for the Power adjustment to a radio frequency line or to a To reach the amplifier input. According to a very advantageous one Embodiment of the invention are several slot antennas seen. By taking advantage of the existing column between The body parts can be a plurality of slots Create antennas easily and with little effort.
Another, very advantageous embodiment of the invention is also that at least one slot antenna as Antenna of a diversity system having several antennas is provided. Slot antennas of the type according to the invention have special in connection with diversity reception systems Advantages, as they do not appear visually on vehicles. To repetitions regarding the description of diversity Avoiding systems is thus, for example, based on the DE-C2-38 36 946 referred to the same patentee. Diver As is known, sity systems require several, at least two Individual antennas. Known solutions are for example disc antennas, Mirror antennas, bumper antennas and / or antennas that be formed by insulated trunk lid. These different antenna options are available or usually not in a car body together available because the panes are made by heating equipment lines are already occupied or mirrors are motor-driven Have adjustment mechanisms that use such Restrict vehicle parts for antenna functions or even to make impossible. In any case, however, is the additional one Integration of an antenna function in such vehicle parts with a new or redesign in terms of high frequency technical requirements necessary. Also with regard to the required safety tests of such exposed driving parts, for example of exterior mirrors with additional antennas functions, the manufacturing effort is considerable. Another disadvantage of the known solutions is in particular special also in that the required decorrelation of the Diagrams of the individual antennas is not always guaranteed. All these disadvantages with diversity systems with conventional ones Individual antennas can by using the Invention slot antennas using existing ones Column between parts of the vehicle body in the simplest Way avoided or at least significantly reduced. With simple means result from the inventive Slot antennas very powerful automotive diversity Systems with good decorrelation and good efficiency Individual antennas. This is particularly because the individual slot antennas in a simple manner according to the Requirements of the diversity system can be dimensioned can and have relatively high antenna efficiency. Next The slot antennas have these functional advantages Vehicle does not look up, which makes for ideal integration the antennas in the vehicle contour is possible.
In connection with a diversity system, in which in addition to the Slot antennas other single antennas can also be used reception is also possible if the moving body parts, such as the door or the trunk lid is open. When the vehicle parts are open there is an electrical connection to the signal tapping points and / or the short-circuit connection not given, whereby regarding the slot antenna or the slot antennas in connection with these open Body parts the reception is interrupted. This one However, slot antenna is part of the diversity system this embodiment of the invention, the whole System function also for a stationary vehicle in this Condition due to the rest of the function Antennas are maintained.
In the event that several slot antennas are provided, it is advantageous, the location of the tap points and / or the short to select final connections so that the antenna diagrams of the individual slot antennas optimally decorrelated to each other are. The measures according to the invention make it possible to optimal decorrelation of the slot in the simplest way antennas, and thereby the entire diversity Antenna system in terms of its functionality optimize.
According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the Location of the tapping points and / or the short-circuit connections chosen so that the antenna diagrams of the individual slots are optimally correlated to one another. Based on these Embodiment of the invention, it is also possible to Antenna or a diversity antenna system with a particularly high To create efficiency. The signals of the individual antennas with completely or optimally correlated diagrams are included preferably added in the correct phase. To this extent repetitions To avoid is phasing with regard to the possibility correct addition to DE-A1-40 03 385 the same application referred.

In the usual way, a sealing rubber 30 can be provided for sealing the trunk. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, the sealing rubber 30 is arranged behind the electrical contact 21 , seen from the outside. Preferably, the construction of the trunk lid closure can also be chosen so that the sealing rubber 30 seen from the outside is arranged in front of the electrical contact 21 , so that the elec trical contact 21 also remains protected against external influences. However, the construction of the details of such an arrangement is not the subject of the present invention, but rather is left to the design options of a designer.
An electrical contact for a short-circuit connection 5 , 6 can be formed in the same way only with the difference that the contact socket 25 is not conductively connected to the inner conductor of a high-frequency connector 29 , but to the vehicle cell 2 or the rest of the vehicle body.
