Description

Für die Herstellung von elektrischen Kontaktstücken hat sich für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungsfällen Silberkadmiumoxid in früheren Zeiten bewährt. Aufgrund der Umweltbelastung durch Kadmiumoxid wird jedoch verstärkt versucht, Kadmiumoxid durch ein anderes Metalloxid zu ersetzen. Sei diesen Untersuchungen zeigt es sich, daß Silber-Zinnoxid ein geeigneter Ersatz für Kadmiumoxid ist. Aufgrund der höheren thermischen Stabilität von Zinnoxid gegenüber Kadmiumoxid ergibt sich zudem eine deut liche verminderte Abbrandrate, die zu längerer Lebensdauer im Schaltgerät führt. Aus wirtschaftlichen und thermischen Gründen wird bei Schützen im mittleren Strombereich (30-80 A) eine unsymmetrische Paarung der Kontaktwerkstoffe vorgezogen. Eine charakteristische Paarung ist z.
