Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support disc for a support disc storage for OE spinning rotors that have a disc-shaped Has basic body, the circumference of which is undercut Tenen, circumferential groove is provided, which is a molded ring made of plastic, the circumference as a tread for one Shaft of an open-end spinning rotor is formed, and a Ver drive to their manufacture.
In the known support disks of the type mentioned, the plastic ring covers the entire circumferential surface of the base body. Such support disks are used to support spinning rotors, which today run at speeds of 100,000 min -1 and more. The speeds of the support disks are therefore also very high. In order to anchor the plastic ring securely on the base body, it is known to provide the base body with one or more circumferential grooves into which the ring projects. It is also known to provide the base body with a circumferential web which then projects into the plastic ring.
It is also known (US Pat. No. 4,893,946), in the scope of the reason incorporate a dovetail groove into the body the ring is anchored. To the parts of the ring that make up the scope of the base body cover laterally from the groove, sure to ver anchor, it is provided that these areas of the circumference of the base body are provided with knurling and / or that an adhesive is applied in this area.
It is also known (DE-A 36 30 257), the main body in the Form a two-piece rim, which as the prefabricated Component manufactured ring takes. The two parts of the base body form a dovetail-shaped groove, in which the ring is held, the one trapezoidal has a tapering cross-section on the outside. The two parts of the Base body are clamped against each other in the axial direction, so that the ring is held clamped. With support disks it is to strive for the tread of the ring to be as complete as possible is round, and that the support disc itself has no vibrations has generating imbalances on the shaft of the OE spinning rotors could be transferred. These conditions are in a rim-like bracket of a prefabricated ring only very difficult to achieve.
The invention has for its object a support disc to create the type mentioned, even at very high Speeds secure anchoring of the ring to the base body guaranteed by.
This object is achieved in that the tread of the Rin ges has a width (in the axial direction) that is the same size as or less than the width that the groove is in the circumference surface of the base body.
Through this training, it is possible to form the ring to anchor very securely because of the fleeing forces acting on it forces essentially from the side walls of the groove of the Base body are caught. The molded ring can be by turning and / or grinding so that one is sufficient round tread is obtained.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the ring the circumferential surface of the base body in a radial direction tion protrudes by about 1.0 mm to about 1.5 mm. Such one Ring is sufficient to obtain the desired damping effect ten, since the part held within the groove of the base body of the ring is involved in the damping. Is expedient it when the total thickness of the ring in the radial direction is approx. Is 4.5 mm to 6.5 mm.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Groove is dovetail-shaped. This results in Support forces that are directed obliquely to the center of the groove. There through the middle area of the ring is at least still partially held by support forces from the sidewalls the groove are applied.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Side walls of the groove have a section at their outer ends have, which is directed radially. This will sharpen Avoided limitations of the groove, which cut into could cause the side flanks of the ring.
In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the part of the ring protruding radially from the base body has extending side surfaces. Expediently there provided further that the radially extending Seitenflä chen of the ring set back against the edges of the groove are and preferably with a curve in the inside of the Pass over the part of the ring that is in the groove. With that too avoided sharp corners or edges, the starting point of Zer could cause interference with the ring.
In a further embodiment of the invention, a method for Manufacture of a support disc according to which the Plastic ring is molded onto the base body in such a way that he fills the circumferential groove and first the circumference covers the surface of the base body, and that then the Areas of the base body located to the side of the groove be removed by subsequent processing. On in this way it is possible to use the plastic ring with relatively ge produce low manufacturing costs, d. H. without expensive Forms are necessary. The ring can rather be sprayed on the, after which he then by turning and / or grinding on the ge desired shape is processed.
Further features and advantages of the invention result from the following description of the shown in the drawing th embodiments and the subclaims.

In Fig. 1, the typical structure of a support disk bearing for an OE spinning rotor is shown in a schematic representation. This support disk bearing contains a total of four support disks ( 10 ) which are arranged in pairs on axles ( 11 , 12 ). The total of four support disks ( 10 ) are arranged in such a way that they form two wedge gaps in which a shaft ( 13 ) of an OE spinning rotor is mounted. The shaft ( 13 ) is driven by means of a tangential belt ( 14 ) which is loaded with pressure rollers (not shown) and which holds the shaft ( 13 ) in the wedge gaps. The drive belt ( 14 ) runs through a machine in the direction of the arrow (A) and drives the shafts ( 13 ) of a large number of spinning units of an OE rotor spinning machine arranged side by side. The axes ( 11 , 12 ), which are mounted in a manner not shown by means of roller bearings, are so skewed to each other that the support discs ( 10 ) exert an axial thrust on the shaft ( 13 ), the end of which in a track, not shown bearing is supported.
The support disks ( 10 ) each consist of a scheibenför shaped base body ( 15 ) which is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the axis ( 11 ) or ( 12 ), and a ring ( 16 ) surrounding the circumference of the base body ( 15 ), which is the actual running surface forms for the shaft ( 13 ). The ring ( 16 ) consists of an elastic plastic, in particular a thermoplastic elastomer. For example, the plastic known under the trademark HYTREL from DuPont is suitable as the material. The ring has the task of damping vibrations so that it has to be rubber-elastic to a certain extent. However, since high demands are placed on the concentricity, on the other hand, it must be sufficiently hard to allow grinding of the peripheral surface serving as the running surface. Spinning rotors run at very high speeds, which today can be 100,000 min -1 and more. The shaft ( 13 ) therefore has a correspondingly high speed. At these high rotor speeds, the support disks ( 10 ) also have very high speeds, which, however, decrease in proportion to their diameter to the diameter of the shaft ( 13 ). The speeds of the support disks ( 10 ) today are in the order of 10,000 min -1 . Because of these high speeds, high centrifugal forces act on the rings ( 16 ), so that these rings ( 16 ) must be anchored very securely to the base bodies ( 15 ).
The disk-shaped base body ( 15 ) are usually made of metal, in particular of an aluminum alloy in the extrusion process.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the disk-shaped base body ( 15 ) is provided in the region of its hub with an axial bore ( 17 ) with which it is pressed onto an axis ( 11 ) or ( 12 ). The base body ( 15 ) is provided on its circumference with egg ner circumferential, dovetail-shaped groove ( 18 ) in which the ring ( 16 ) is molded. The ring ( 16 ), which is poured or injected into the groove ( 18 ), projects with only a small part of its axial strength in the radial direction beyond the circumferential surface of the base body ( 15 ), while its predominant part within the groove ( 18 ) is arranged. The total thickness of the ring ( 16 ) in the radial direction is between 4.5 mm and 6.5 mm. The amount by which the ring ( 16 ) projects beyond the circumferential surface of the support disk ( 15 ), on the other hand, is only in the order of magnitude of 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm.
As can be seen well from Fig. 2, the width of the groove ( 18 ) projecting part of the ring ( 16 ), ie its extension in the axial direction, is significantly smaller than the width of the base body ( 15 ). The width of the ring ( 16 ) corresponds in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 to the width of the dovetail-shaped groove ( 18 ) with which it is open to the peripheral surface of the base body ( 15 ). The width of the ring ( 16 ) is of the order of 4 mm to about 5 mm.
The side walls of the dovetail-shaped groove ( 18 ) are inclined at an angle of approximately 20 ° to the radial. Because of these inclined side walls, the ring ( 16 ) is held against the centrifugal force by supporting forces applied by these side walls, these supporting forces being inclined obliquely towards the center of the groove ( 18 ). It is expedient that the outgoing support walls from the outer edge regions of the sides intersect in front of the bottom of the groove, so that reliable support is also obtained for the central region of the ring ( 16 ). The side surfaces of the part of the ring ( 16 ) protruding from the base body ( 15 ) run radially.
The manufacture of a support disc ( 10 ) according to FIG. 2 is explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5. In the basic body by ( 15 ), a rectangular groove ( 19 ) is first inserted, which also determines the width (b) with which the groove ( 18 ) is later open to the peripheral surface of the basic body ( 15 ). Finally, the final groove shape is produced in a second step using a white turning tool that is suitable for undercutting. In the area of the groove base, there is usually a rest of the groove ( 19 ). As can be seen from Fig. 3, the obliquely inclined to the radial side walls of the groove ( 18 ) end in front of the area of the outer circumference, so that radial sections ( 20 ) connect to the two oblique side walls.
In a next step, the ring ( 16 ), which consists of a polyester thermoplastic, is molded onto the base body ( 15 ) ( FIG. 4). The polyester thermoplastic is injected into the groove ( 18 ) and sprayed onto the outer circumference of the base body ( 15 ) in such a way that the outer peripheral surfaces of the base body ( 15 ) are also covered by the plastic ( FIG. 4).
In a next step ( Fig. 5) the ring ( 16 ) is processed so that its final shape is created. This work can be done by turning, especially diamond turning, or by grinding. To ensure that the circumferential surfaces of the base body ( 15 ) are completely free of plastic of the ring ( 16 ), these circumferential surfaces are also expediently also processed by a small amount in the order of 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm. This Abarbei th is carried out so that the side surfaces of the ring ( 16 ) by a small amount in the order of 0.2 mm are also processed. The tread of the plastic ring ( 16 ) thus has an axial width which is slightly smaller than the width (b) with which the groove ( 18 ) to the circumferential surface of the base body ( 15 ) is open. In this work From causes the radial side surfaces of the Rin ges ( 16 ), which limit the tread, connect with curves ( 21 ) to the part of the ring ( 16 ) which lies within the groove ( 18 ). This ensures that due to the centrifugal forces acting there are no stress peaks or the like at these points, which could be the cause of the ring ( 16 ) being destroyed.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 6 it is provided that the ring ( 16 '), after it has been molded onto the base body ( 15 ), is processed so that the side faces of the base body ( 15 ) project in the radial direction Partly run in a straight extension of the side walls of the groove ( 18 '). In this case, it is provided that the groove ( 18 ') extend up to the circumference of the base body ( 15 ) with a constant inclination.
In the embodiment of Fig. 6 it is further provided that the ring ( 16 ') is provided with a circumferential, centrally arranged cooling groove ( 22 ) which has a radial depth of less than one millimeter. The width of the cooling groove ( 22 ) is of the order of one millimeter or less.
In Fig. 7 and 8, a further possibility for the preparation of a dovetail groove (18 '') is shown in a body (15). In this embodiment, a rectangular groove ( 25 ) is first worked into the circumference of the base body ( 15 ), preferably by turning, from which webs ( 23 , 24 ) are formed laterally. While maintaining the same clamping, the webs ( 23 , 24 ) is then provided with a rolling tool ( 26 ) which bends the webs ( 23 , 24 ) inwards so that the dovetail-shaped groove ( 18 '') is formed.
Since it is not a prerequisite that the groove base of the dovetail-shaped groove ( 18 , 18 'or 18 '') is flat, other manufacturing methods are also possible to create the dovetail-shaped groove. For example, it is possible to obtain the dovetail-shaped groove by grooving twice.
In all cases, it is appropriate that the subsequently molded, ie sprayed, ring ( 16 , 16 ') made of plastic is attached so that it also covers the circumferential surfaces adjacent to the respective groove ( 18 , 18 ', 18 '') , after which the ring ( 16 ) is machined to its final shape, ie to the axial width which is equal to or preferably less than the opening of the groove ( 18 , 18 ', 18 '') to the peripheral surface of the base body ( 15 ) is. Under certain circumstances it is also possible to provide a two-part base body.
