Description
Form zur Herstellung von Bällen und anderen Hohlkörpern -aus Gummi. Bei :der Herstellung von Bällen und anderen Hohlkörpern aus Gümmi werden Platten aus unvulkanisierter Gummimasse durch Luftdruck in die Höhlungen der Form gepreßt. Handelt es gich um Körper mit Stellen verhältnismäßig großer Weite, dann wird der Gummi an den tiefsten Stellen der Formhöhlung am meisten gestreckt, so daß eine ungleichförmige Wandstärke entsteht. Um diesen llbelstand zu vermeiden, wird die Formhöhlung an der Stelle, an welcher der fertige Hohlkörper nach außen gebaucht werden soll, nach innen zu gebaucht, und zwar wird, wenn es sich lediglich darum handelt, eine möglichst gleiche Wandstärke zu erzielen; die Bauchung nach innen um das gleiche Maß erfolgen, als die Wandung des fertigen Hohlkörpers nach außen gebaucht sein soll. Dadurch erhält die Gummiplatte beim Ansaugen eine überall gleiche Wandstärke. Wenn der geschlossene Hohlkörper alsdann aus der Form entfernt wird, so bewirkt der in seinem Innern herrschende Druck, daß die nach innen gebogene Wand sich nach außen wölbt, ohne daß sich der Gummi hierbei streckt, so daß die gleichmäßige Stärke der _ Wand aufrechterhalten, bleibt. `Die Form gemäA der Erfindung verhindert aber auch ein Auseinanderreißein der beiden mit ihren Kanten aneinandergedrückten Gummiteile infolge des beim Auseinanderpressen erhöhten Luftdruckes -*ährend des Xineinbringens des Hohlkörpers in die Vulkanisierform.
