Trotz vielfacher Vorschläge ist es bis jetzt nicht gelungen, den als hochwertiges Düngemittel geschätzten Kalksalpeter in eine trockene, locker bleibende und daher streufähige Form zu bringen. Die darauf hinzielenden Verfahren beruhen meist auf mechanischer Mischung des Kalksalpeters mit Sulfaten in festem Zustande. Hierbei bleibt aber das Kalziumnitrat als solches in der -Hauptmenge unverändert, es findet deshalb eine noch längere Zeit andauernde Wasseranziehung und darauf eintretendes Zusammenbacken des Erzeugnisses statt, was ein nachträgliches Zerkleinern in Brechern und -Mühlen erforderlich macht.Process for the production of a well dispersible, non-hydrophilic Potash mixed nitrogen fertilizer.
