Abstract

An optical mirror is mounted so that it can rotate about an axis parallel to its reflecting surface but is prevented from moving in any direction at right angles to this axis. Thisis achieved by mounting the mirror (9) on a rigid bar (2). Each end of this bar (2) is attached by use of elastic spokes (3,4,5) and (6,7,8) to the uprights and base of a support (1). These spokes bend elastically to permit the mirror to rotate but prevent any vertical or lateral movement of the ends of the bar (2). USE - Optical instruments.

Description

State of the art
The present invention relates to an arrangement for mounting a mirror provided for deflecting optical rays, which is located on a support body which is suspended in a supporting frame by means of elastic spokes so as to be tiltable about an axis running parallel to the mirror surface, the spokes on the one hand on the support body and on the other hand are fixed to the support frame.

In space technology, arrangements of this type, for. B. to satellites Communication using laser beams is used to precisely target the laser beam To steer the receiver.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The inventive arrangement for mounting a mirror with the features of Patent claim 1 has the advantage that the mirror ge in an exact position will hold and that a tilting movement about a defined axis is possible. Out Advantageous developments of the claims set out in claim 1 an arrangement. The fixing of the spokes is particularly advantageous Quasi-joints. Because this allows a lower torsional stiffness and achieve a larger tilt angle of the mirror.

Fig. 5 shows the arrangement of FIG. 4 after tilting the support body for the mirror.

Fig. 1 shows a support frame 1 , in which an elongate support body 2 is suspended at both ends by means of spokes 3 , 4 , 5 and 8 , 7 , 8 . A mirror 9 is arranged on the support body 2 and should be tiltable about an axis running parallel to the mirror surface. Since the spokes 3 , 4 , 5 and 6 , 7 , 8 , on which the support body 2 of the mirror 9 is suspended in the support frame 1 , are elastic, the support body can be tilted about an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the support body 2 .

Deviating from the two-sided suspension shown in Fig. 1 of a elongated support body, a short support body can be used, which is only suspended in one plane in a support frame by means of spokes.

Fig. 3).In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the support body 2 with three spokes 3 , 4 , 5 and 6 , 7 , 8 is suspended in the support frame 1 . Two spokes 3 , 4 and 6 , 7 are fixed on the support body 2 and on the support frame so that they run in opposite directions. The third spoke 5 and 8 is at right angles to the other two spokes 3 , 4 and 6 , 7 angeord net. A caused by the tilting radial offset of the support body 2 in the direction of the third spoke 5 or 8 is avoided in that - as illustrated in FIG. 2 - the support body 2 in the support frame 1 with three spokes 10 , 11 , 12 hangs which run in three directions rotated by 120 ° with respect to each other. A further improvement in the radial positional stability of the support body 2 can be achieved by suspending the support body 2 with four spokes 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 in the support frame 1 , two spokes each running in opposite directions (see FIG. 3 ).

The spoke suspension should, as previously stated, secure the support body 2 from deflections in the radial direction to its tilting axis, which runs in FIGS . 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the plane of the drawing, as well as possible. However, the spokes should allow the support body 2 to rotate about its tilting axis and should form only a slight resistance when twisted. The torsional rigidity can be reduced in that - as shown in FIG. 4 - the spokes 17 , 18 , 19 are fixed on the frame 1 and / or on the support body 2 via so-called quasi-joints.

Fig. 4 shows that all three spokes 17 , 18 and 19 are connected to the support frame 1 via a quasi-articulation. The example of the spoke 18 shows how the spokes can also be fixed to the support body 2 via a quasi-joint. The quasi-joints used in the exemplary embodiment are ausgebil det in such a way that the respective spoke end facing the support frame 1 or the support body 2 branches into two parallel elastic spring arms 20 and 21 , and the ends of these spring arms 20 and 21 on the support frame 1 or on Support body 2 are fixed. Fig. 5 illustrates the deflection of the spokes 17, 18, 19 and the spring arms 20, 21 which are present on the spoke ends quasi joints with a rotation of the support body 2 around its tilting axis.

The quasi-joints shown prevent the occurrence of stress concentrations at the junctures of the spokes with the support body 2 or the supporting frame 1 .
