Vorrichtung zum Halten von Büchern bei dem Lesen. Die Erfindung stellt
eine Vorrichtung dar, mit welcher man ein beliebig großes Buch, darin eingespannt,
mit einer Hand haltend bequem und in jeder Lage lesen kann, ohne daß das Buch umblättern
oder sich irgendwie selbsttätig von der Vorrichtung trennen kann. Gegenüber bekannten
Vorrichtungen hat die vorliegende Erfindung einmal den Vorteil, daß infolge Verstellbarkeit
der Säule jedes beliebig große Buch eingespannt und gehalten werden kann. Die Anordnung
zweier Haken zum Einklemmen des Buches in Verbindung mit der Haltevorrichtung hat
weiter den Vorteil, daß man das Buch in jeder beliebigen Lage halten und lesen kann,
ohne daß es sich aus der Vorrichtung löst. Schließlich ist durch Anordnung zweier
voneinander unabhängigen Drücker die Möglichkeit gegeben, die einzelnen Blattseiten
nacheinander umblättern zu--können, so daß das Buch nicht
plötzlich
freigelegt oder durch Freilegen beider Seiten gleichzeitig völlig verblättert wird.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt.

Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einer zusammenschiebbaren Säule
a, b, welche mit einem Handgriff d versehen ist. An dem oberen, dem Handgriff
entgegengesetzten Ende der Säule befindet sich ein Haken c, welcher dazu dient,
das zu lesende Buch durch Einhaken in den Buchrücken zu halten. Am unteren Teil
der Säule, nächst dem Handgriff, ist ein weiterer Haken cl, denselben Zweck verrichtend
wie der Haken c,. angebracht. Der Haken cl ist derart geformt, daß er zwei das aufgeklappte
Buch abstützende Arme g, g1 trägt und sie in wagerechter Lage hält. Die Arme g,
g1 sind am Haken dl gelenkig angeordnet, um das Zusammenklappen der Vorrichtung
zu ermöglichen. Am äußeren Ende der Arme g, g1 befindet sich j e ein unter Federwirkung

die Seiten des zu lesenden Buches
nicht unwillkürlich umblättern zu lassen. Damit ein gewolltes Umlegen der Buchseiten
stattfinden kann, sind die Blatthalter i, il durch je eine in -an den Armen g, g1
sitzenden Lagern k, kl geführte Welle in, nal mit zwei Drückern h, hl verbunden.
Dadurch ist man in der Lage. durch -Druck auf einen der Drücker, welche beiderseits
des Handgriffes d angebracht sind, abwechselnd die eine oder andere Hälfte der Buchseiten
