Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electrical separator for Separation of suspended matter, in particular aerosols Gases with grounded precipitation areas, the gas through limit flow channels in which ionization electrodes are arranged.
Such an electrical separator is known (FR-PS 5 14 377). The separation of solid or also practiced has liquid particles due to their electrical charge turned out to be very effective, especially in the case of disgust formation of very fine suspended matter such as aerosols. For the Precipitation electrodes are usually a metal mostly steel. As a result of the electrical conductivity Precipitation areas and their grounding migrate from the ionization electrodes or spray electrodes charged particles to the precipitation areas where they deposit in layers. These layers are at for example by periodic tapping or by Rinsing is removed using a liquid such as water.
In the known electrical separator, it is disadvantageous that its metallic precipitation surfaces are susceptible to corrosion are. In many cases, the gas to be cleaned, for example a drying exhaust gas, aggressive chemical substances, one comparatively high moisture content and possibly also a high temperature, which results in serious corrosion problems can arise.
It is known to corrode an electrostatic precipitator by preventing the precipitation areas from taking place be made of metal from plastic (US-PS 32 48 857). Plastic plates or plastic pipes are used for bil formation of the gas flow channels and the precipitation elec tread provided. The use is only as a wet scrub which is possible by spraying the Nieder constantly impact surfaces or by steam condensation from the ent speaking wet gas a liquid film on the low is created and maintained by which the charges of the separated particles flow off can. Such a liquid film also has advantages in connection with keeping the precipitation surface clean Chen, however, results from the Be already mentioned limitation to wet separation beyond the risk that it to at least partially dry off the precipitation areas and thus a corresponding loss of Ab cutting performance comes. There are also special measures to ensure that the grounding of the liquid film on the Rain areas are guaranteed.
Finally, an electrical separator is also known at which the precipitation areas or collecting electrodes of Glass plates are formed (DE-PS 31 52 216). Glass is be known to be largely resistant to chemical corrosion sion. Here, however, the same results as for the Use of plastic panels the need for bil Formation and maintenance of a liquid film on the Glass plates and the risk of drying with ent speaking loss of separation performance.
The invention has for its object an electric the separator so that there are signs of corrosion at the precipitation areas can be avoided without suitability for dry separation is lost and Loss of performance must be accepted.
This object is achieved in that the precipitation areas from electrically conductive art consist of fabric.
Here is the corrosion resistance of the precipitation guaranteed by the plastic material. This is however not like the well-known electrical separator electrically insulating but conductive. Therefore, they work Precipitation areas like metallic precipitation areas without the presence of a liquid film, so that too the precipitation area itself and not the liquid film is to be earthed.
Die Formmassenbezeichnung lautet in diesem Fall: FM DIN 16 774 - PP-H, ECFY, 95 T 006.A suitable plastic with electrical conductivity has been known for years and is commercially available. It deals is a special further development of the plant fabric polypropylene with high soot content and additional filling fabrics. In this case, the name of the molding compound is: FM DIN 16 774 - PP-H, ECFY, 95 T 006.
This material was developed to be electrostatic to avoid charges due to low surface resistance. It has been shown that its electrical conductivity completely sufficient to charge the crackdown To achieve suspended particles without loss of performance. Also otherwise, the special plastic for the intended Use appropriate properties. That also includes good machinability and machinability, which was also previously divide compared to metallic precipitation surfaces.
Appropriate refinements and developments of the inventions The appropriate electrical separator result from the sub claims.
Es zeigtTwo embodiments of the invention are as follows explained in more detail using a schematic drawing. It shows
Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch ein Rohr aus elektrisch leitendem Kunststoff mit innenseitiger Nieder schlagsfläche und zentraler Sprühelektrode und Fig. 1 shows a cross section through a tube made of electrically conductive plastic with inside low impact surface and central spray electrode and
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through profiled plates made of electrically conductive plastic, which are arranged with the formation of honeycomb gas flow channels with central spray electrodes.
Referring to FIG. 1, a thin-walled tube 1 is provided made of electrically conductive plastic, the inside of which forms a cylindrical surface 2 precipitate. The collecting surface 2 defines a gas flow passage 3, an ionization electrode 4 extending centrally through the mold in a tensioned Sprühdrahts. On its outer circumference, the tube 1 is provided with a plurality of stiffening ribs 5 distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction.
A large number of such tubes 1 are usually arranged in a vertical orientation between two boiler floors or support plates, the ionization electrodes 4 being connected to a common high-voltage source, while the tubes 1 are grounded in a manner not shown.
Furthermore, a cleaning device, not shown, of conventional design, for example a tapping device or a rinsing device for detaching and removing separated suspended matter from the precipitation surface 2, is seen before. Furthermore, in the arrangement of a plurality of tubes 1 described above, a cooling device can be provided which allows a flow around the tubes 1 on their outside in the area between the two trays with a cooling medium. Such rear cooling of the tubes 1 may be appropriate or even necessary to prevent softening and deformation of the plastic tube 1 when cleaning hot gases. The cooling on the back can also serve to promote condensation of moisture from the gas to be cleaned on the precipitation surface 2 and thereby constantly rinse the precipitation surface and remove the separated suspended matter as soon as possible. Furthermore, the rear cooling of the tubes 1 by means of an electrically conductive liquid offers a simple possibility for earthing the tubes.
Fig. 2 shows several plates 6 with bends such that plate sections 7 and 8 alternately run in two mutually parallel planes and are connected to one another by oppositely inclined connecting sections 9 and 10 . In this case, adjacent plates 6 with their plate sections 7 and 8 abut one another, as shown, resulting in honeycomb-shaped gas flow channels 11 which are formed by the flat sides of two adjacent plates or respectively by six sections 7 to 10 , which delimit the precipitation through the gas flow channel 11 Have surfaces 12 . Here, too, 13 of a strained Sprühdrahts extends through each gas flow channel 11 in the form of an ionization electrode.
The bends or the profiling of the plates 6 with the sections 7 to 10 gives the plates stiffness. The mutual support under the plates also contributes to the strength of the honeycomb arrangement. If necessary, the plates 6 can be firmly connected to one another in the area of their abutting plate sections 7 and 8 , which can be achieved simply by gluing or welding, for example, due to the plastic material. With regard to cleaning, which usually takes place automatically but can or must be carried out by hand in some cases, it may be appropriate not to connect the plates 6 or only in groups. A corresponding modular design has its advantages.
