Description
The Invention relates to a method for treating exhaust gases under Oxidation of pollutants, especially for the separation of NOx.
NO ist wasserunlöslich, seine Entfernung aus dem Gasstrom macht deshalb Schwierigkeiten.at Combustion using air creates exhaust gases that besides the usual Combustion products also contain pollutants. One of these Pollutants is the mixture of nitrogen oxides, abbreviated as NOx reproduced. This mixture generally consists of 95% from NO, the rest is NO2. NO is insoluble in water, its removal from the gas flow therefore creates difficulties.
The Removal is done chemically either by reduction to N2 or oxidation to NO2.
At the the best known is the reduction with ammonia, either on non-catalytic Paths at high temperatures above 900 ° C or with the help of heavy metals Catalysts at temperatures around 350 ° C.
Farther is known from DE OS 29 06 115 that for dry separation of NOx, SO2, HCl, and HF compounds hydrated lime used will that with diluted Potassium permangamate or the like Reactants, such as hydrogen superoxide, sodium thiosulfate, sodium hypochlorite etc., is wetted, which react with NOx and lime and a connection received.
It have to that is, substances are used that contain NOx and lime at the same time react. Regarding sodium hypochlorite, it should be noted that it is only in solution resistant is. Moreover decays it very easily with the release of chlorine.

Damit ist der Verbrauch an Wasserstoffperoxid unvertretbar hoch.known manner hydrogen peroxide decomposes very much under the influence of dust and metal salts quickly and under certain circumstances spontaneous. This means that the consumption of hydrogen peroxide is unacceptably high.
The DE OS 34 05 447 relates to a method and an apparatus for Separation of various finely divided and / or gaseous pollutants from flue gases using different additives. So it is for sour Calcium hydroxide is used, organic compounds are used for NOx, such as oxalates, fumarates and / or acetates.

As Oxidizing agent becomes aqueous Phase sodium chlorite, NaCl02, used. Through sodium chlorite NO oxidizes to NO2, which is washed out of the gas stream in alkaline solution can be.
The Working with sodium chlorite in laundry power however difficulties. It is important that a low pH of 1 to 2 is observed. Sodium chlorite only develops its properties in strongly acidic solutions Effectiveness. This requires an appropriate pH control.
A Another difficulty is that the turnover is not complete. Are the scrubber solutions in Sprühabsorbern evaporated and the salts applied, so it can develop Chlorine come.

The DE OS 21 59 186 finally teaches a washing solution in the hot Dosing exhaust gas flow, whereby the water evaporates completely and thus wash water does not arise.
Out BWK, Vol. 9 No. 3, 1957, pages 126-128, is known to avoid of corrosion on system parts, such as electrical or fabric filters, the temperature so chosen is that the Falling below the acid dew point is avoided.
There is therefore a need to create a ver drive to the separation of NO from exhaust gases, which does not have the disadvantages shown above, so a simple process above the temperature of 130 ° C. It is also important to develop a process that is based on the fact that existing process facilities can be used in existing plants without major modifications.
According to the invention the above objectives and tasks with a cleaning process of exhaust gases from NOx, SO2 and / or organic substances, in which the Pollutants undergo oxidation and the oxidation products reacted with basic substances, solved that is characterized in that first finely powdered sodium chlorite and / or sodium peroxide or sodium chlorite in dissolved Form and then basic substances in powder form in the exhaust gas flow brought or that fine powder Sodium chlorite and / or sodium peroxide together with calcium hydroxide, Calcium carbonate, quicklime, magnesium hydroxide, dolomite and / or Magnesium carbonate is brought into the exhaust gas stream in fine powder form and the solids above the dew point of the exhaust gas, preferably at 130 ° to 250 ° C E-filters or fabric filters can be separated.
Säuren setzen aus Natriumchlorit die chlorige Säure frei, die unbeständig ist und sehr leicht Sauerstoff für Oxidationen abgibt.sodium chlorite only develops its full effectiveness in the presence of acids as an oxidizing agent. acids release chlorine acid from sodium chlorite, which is unstable and very easily oxygen for Gives off oxidations.
For the oxidation of NO with sodium chlorite, it is therefore necessary that acids in Gas flow that release the chlorous acid.
The usual Concentrations at waste incineration plants are 600 to 1,500 mg / m3. The acid supply is thus considerably higher than that stoichiometric Need to release the chlorous acid. Add to that that too there is still sulfur dioxide in the exhaust gas, its concentration is average Is 300 mg / m3. So it's a multiple of acid equivalents for the Reaction with sodium chlorite available.
Also Power plants contain an acid component in the form of sulfur dioxide, which acts on sodium chlorite.
Further sodium peroxide is suitable. Sodium peroxide becomes the weak one Acid hydrogen peroxide released, which breaks down into water and oxygen and has a strong oxidizing effect.
Auf diese Weise kann es aus dem Abgas abgeschieden werden.at Oxidation of NO produces NO2 as a mixed anhydrite of nitrous oxide Acid and Nitric acid. NO2 is water soluble and settles into nitrites and alkaline substances Nitrates around. This way it can be separated from the exhaust gas become.
Bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wird so vorgegangen, daß nach der Oxidation die oxidierten Schadstoffe mit basischen Stoffen aus dem Gasraum abgeschieden werden.at the implementation of the method according to the invention is done so that after the oxidized pollutants with basic substances be separated from the gas space.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention is that sodium chlorite is brought into the gas stream as a powder and for separating the oxidized pollutants, especially NO2, still basic substances are introduced into the exhaust gas as powder, the introduced, unreacted basic substances together with the neutralized oxidized pollutants separated on e-filters or fabric filters become.
Entsprechendes gilt für Na2O2.This embodiment is that powdered sodium chlorite is introduced into the gas space. Here it reacts with the im Acids present in the gas space releasing the chlorous acid. This can then NO to oxidize to NO2. The same applies to Na2O2.
To After oxidation, the basic substances are introduced into the gas space. Calcium hydroxide is preferred. This will in the form of powder Calcium hydroxide introduced into the exhaust gas stream. In the exhaust gas flow prevailing high temperatures of 70 to 250 ° C, preferably 130 to 250 ° C, sets NO2 very quickly and completely with the basic substances to calcium nitrite and calcium nitrate. There is no visible exhaust plume.
To the neutralization of NO2 by bases with the corresponding formation Reaction products can this then without lowering the temperature on e-filters or fabric filters be deposited.
A more cheap embodiment of the method according to the invention is characterized in that fine powder Sodium chlorite or sodium peroxide together with calcium hydroxide, Calcium carbonate, quicklime, magnesium hydroxide, dolomite and / or Magnesium carbonate is brought into the gas stream in fine powder form and the solid reaction products on e-filters or on fabric filters be deposited.
The advantage of this process is that the finely powdered sodium salts are used together with finely powdered basic compounds the same parts of the system are brought into the gas flow. There the fine powdered basic compounds and the fine powdered sodium salt are present in the batch. The acid present in the gas stream then reacts with both powders. The released chlorous acid oxidizes NO to NO2, which in turn can react immediately with the basic compounds.
The The solids are then separated on e-filters or on fabric filters.
It this is a very simple, low-cost process.
The scope of the invention is the stoichiometric relationship from sodium chlorite and / or sodium peroxide to NO from 0.25 to 10, preferably 0.5 to 3, in particular 0.5 to 1, selected.
The inventive method can be above 20 ° C carried out are, but preferably above the dew point of the exhaust gas used. Below the dew point there is condensation of water and for washing out the sodium salts.
Die bevorzugte Temperatur liegt im Temperaturbereich von 130 bis 250°C.The preferred temperature is in the temperature range from 130 to 250 ° C.
It is however easily possible the sodium salts of the invention even at higher temperatures than 250 ° C use, i.e. to work in the temperature range from 250 to 1200 ° C.
Abgasen noch Säuren, insbesondere den nichtoxidierbaren Chlorwasserstoff zuzusetzen.at the implementation of the method according to the invention can the case occur that in the gases or exhaust gases are not sufficient acids are present to make up the sodium chlorite and / or sodium peroxide To expel acid completely. In this case, the gases or exhaust gases may still be appropriate acids, in particular to add the non-oxidizable hydrogen chloride.
The Addition of hydrogen chloride before or after the injection described sodium salts are carried out.
Farther can do the water-soluble Sodium chlorite also introduced as an aqueous solution become. The basic substances, on the other hand, are called fine powders injected.
On certain problem of using sodium chlorite and sodium peroxide is the presence of sulfur dioxide. The strong oxidation effect of free acids leads to, that too Sulfur dioxide is oxidatively converted to sulfur trioxide. This means an increased consumption of sodium chlorite and / or sodium peroxide. This extra consumption can be reduced if already in the firebox basic substances, preferably calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide, can be entered. this leads to to a strong reduction in the sulfur dioxide content in the exhaust gas.
The strong oxidation effect of free chlorous acid or hydrogen peroxide can now not only for the oxidation of NO to NO2 but also for Oxidation of other substances can be used. According to the invention, these are Sulfur dioxide and unburned organic matter from the used Fuels. The inventive method in this version is based on the fact that sodium chlorite and / or Sodium peroxide is added to the exhaust gas stream to be cleaned and cleaning is carried out in accordance with process features 1 to 6.
With this embodiment of the method according to the invention particularly high degrees of separation of sulfur dioxide can be achieved. It is known that at incinerators Hydrogen chloride very good, sulfur dioxide less well separated becomes. By the oxidation of sulfur dioxide to sulfur dioxide the separation is now facilitated. This means that higher degrees of separation can be achieved.
Farther the exhaust gases still contain small amounts of organic substances, e.g. Formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, higher Aldehydes, benzenes in diverse embodiment, Aromatics and chlorinated hydrocarbons, also in numerous Variations. These substances are characterized by the free chlorine acid and / or Hydrogen peroxide essentially oxidized to water and carbon dioxide. The possibly generated hydrogen chloride can then with the basic Substances are deposited.
Farther Oxidation affects not only organic matter but also carbon monoxide, which can be oxidized to carbon dioxide.
With this procedure can in addition to waste gases from waste incineration plants and power plants Gases and exhaust gases from industrial processes, e.g. Smelting and sintering processes, be treated. At correspondingly high temperatures, too without adding acid be worked.
