Flow meter. The invention relates to measuring devices for
Liquids, gases and vapors with a flow resistance placed in the flow,
which deals with the stronger or weaker flow due to the pressure changes

take along. As the movement of the resistance system as a measure of the unit of time
flowing through the flow, this movement must be led out of your apparatus,
to display, register, integrate or use them for regulatory purposes
to be able to. The lead out of the room, in which there is often a large overpressure,
is always carried out with suitable stuffing boxes with a certain amount of friction, which with the
Time grows and the accuracy of the information is strongly influenced. Also the inner lines
often cause significant friction, especially when impure media (steam, gases
or the like) can be measured.

The present invention eliminates this harmful friction or significantly reduces it by the fact that the surfaces which rub against each other during the operation of the ammeter perform an oscillating relative movement in a manner known per se, which significantly reduces the static or also the sliding friction. This oscillating movement can either be received by the part moving during the measurement or the bearing part or both parts. The oscillating movement that eliminates the friction can be carried out in a purely mechanical manner by cams, non-circular disks, eccentrics, centrifugal force or the like, or by a pressure medium, by a turbine, a motor, by pressure surges or also electrically with the help of a motor, an electromagnet that is driven by an interrupted electric current is excited, or by alternating current or the like.
