Wenn solche Produkte vor dem Verzehr in einem Ofen erhitzt werden, werden sie unerwünschterweise weich; dieses Problem ist besonders zu beobachten, wenn das Erhitzen in einem Mikrowellenherd erfolgt. Da ein Mikrowellenherd ein Produkt nicht knusprig und braun werden läßt, werden die Teile des Produkts, die an sich knusprig und knackig sein sollen, weich und klitschig.
