Abstract
Flexible tape- or film shaped superconductors are made from ceramic sinter materials, whereby a finely divided homogeneous superconductor material is prepd. from a mixt. of several different oxidic powders by mixing, pressing, sintering, milling and opt. subjecting to multiple heat treatment, and after the last heat treatment,mixing the powdered superconductor with a copolymer and processing the mixt. into a tape or film by rolling or other cross section reducing procedure. The powdered superconductor material is e.g. YBa2Cu3O7. The copolymer material is pref. an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (claimed).
