Abstract

A lock with a safety interlock has an electromagnetic section, wich locks and unlocks security bolts and sets an alarm to warn of attempts to open the door without the correct release code, attached to the correct key. The locking code provides pulses to the locking electromagnet to secure the door until the release code is applied. If the door is merely closed, without locking, the locking electromagnets secure the door in the same manner until correctly released. If the door is forced, the locking sliders jam in position and further secure the door.
