Abstract

The sauna is equipped with bunks (28.1) at different levels for sitting or lying. A heater, is supplied with the cooled air extracted from the cubicle bottom. To avoid turbulance and to give an even temp. gradient, a shaft (35) in the wall leads from the bottom intake to the top discharge, with the heater mounted closely before the shaft outlets. A fan (40) generates a slow air flow in the shaft, which leads at the top (68) into a distributor nozzle (85) immediately below the cubicle roof. The nozzle discharges hot air to two sides immediately under the roof. The heater (81) and nozzle walls (87) are enclosed by intermediate walls. Cooler air, tapped off from the shaft in front of the heater, flows over the latter.
