Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a rectangular container with a check box on a side wall.
The field of application of the invention is the sorting of containers crates, especially bottle crates such as beer crates, mineral water boxes and the like.
A container box of this type is from DE-OS 33 37 831 be knows. The marking field includes vertical, i.e. perpendicular to the floor wall and beams aligned with the direction of transport. The scanning he follows using a scan matrix. The scanning matrix must be exact to the respective height of the marking field on the side wall of the Container box aligned. This arrangement is very complex and also limited in the scanning speed, since at high Ab key speed no usable image can be generated. In addition, the matrix evaluation is sensitive to interference if code errors or there is damage to the marking bars.
The object of the invention is to provide a container Most and a process that reads the Markie properly field independently of the scanning speed and independently made possible by the size of the respective container box.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the Marking field at least one bar group from each other and to Bottom wall of the container box has parallel bars and that on A trigger bar as well as at the top or bottom of each bar group Several bars of a given width to display a start code are arranged.
The invention differs from the prior art in that than the bars are arranged in the horizontal direction. As a result sen is a scan with vertical down as the bars pass key line possible, so that each bar can be recorded several times. This ensures reliable detection even if a bar is damaged possible. In addition, groups of bars can vary in height the side wall of the container box can be detected. This is important because the container boxes have different heights, e.g. B. beer crates for different bottle formats and water boxes.
In a development of the invention it is provided that the bars width is assigned to a digital coding. So there are in the In this case, bars and spaces in two different levels.
So that the required number of codes is available provided that the marking field several parallel to the bottom wall has groups of bars arranged one behind the other.
A reliable detection of the bar group is possible in that a reader with at least one scan line on the marking field is passed parallel to the bottom wall and that the scanning line is aligned vertically to the bottom wall.
Damaged bars can still be recognized by the fact that each Bar group is scanned several times and that the evaluation by similar scanning sequences are recorded.
So that marking fields at different heights are recognized the, it is provided that the scanning of the start bar and the start code is detected.
So that the scanning line does not exactly point to the marking field must be directed, it is provided that the length of the scan line Height of the check box exceeds.
A device for performing the method according to the inven is characterized in that the scan line of a line name ra is aligned perpendicular to the bottom wall of the container box that the object field in the vertical direction is greater than the height of the markie is approximately and that the scanning line of the line camera at the Rela active movement parallel to the floor wall several times over each group of beams strokes.
In training it is provided that for storing the at Query the image sequence resulting pulse train read a memory hen is the one that arises when scanning a group of bars Stores pulse trains.
Ultimately, this ensures the security of the detection Continues that when several identical pulse sequences occur, a common one me sample pulse train formed and this sample pulse train to win Decoding a detection signal is decoded.

Fig. 1 shows a section of a side wall 1 of a container box. The side wall 1 has a supporting window 2 . Below the upper edge 3 and above this supporting window 2 , a marking field 4 is provided, which comprises several bar groups 51, 52, 53 . The container box is z. B. a box for beer bottles. The marking field 4 contains a code for the manufacturer, the time of manufacture, the type of box, the respective brewery and other sorting features. It is important that these codings can be read reliably even when the boxes pass quickly. The coding should be reliably recognized even if the code is damaged or contaminated.
Each bar group 51, 52, 53 comprises a start bar 6 and a start code 7 . The start code 7 is followed by further bars and spaces 8 which represent digital coding. With several groups of bars you have a sufficient variety of coding options. Every bar and every space allows a digital value to be displayed.
The marking fields are scanned as the container box passes by on a transport path. A line camera 9 with a vertical scanning line 10 is aligned with the respective side wall. The object field of the scanning line 10 is larger in the vertical direction than the extent of the marking field 4 , as can be seen clearly from FIG. 2. The scanning line 10 is aligned perpendicular to the bottom wall. A scan generator 11 connects to the line camera and queries the image of the scan line 10 . The picture line is in the usual way inside the camera with a large number of photodiodes. In the scan generator 11 , the query sequence is converted into a pulse sequence. The pulse trains are stored in a memory 12 . A code is reliably recognized within the memory when several pulse sequences are identical. This is because each bar group is swept several times by the scanning line as it passes, so that reliable detection is possible. The detected pulse train is passed on to the decoding stage 13 . The code is decoded there. On the basis of the detection signal, the switching operations and sorting operations required in each case can then be triggered.
It is important that the bars of each bar group are aligned horizontally so that the scanning line can take a picture of each bar group multiple times during the scanning process. This enables reliable detection of damaged, partially broken and soiled markings. The respective bar group is recognized within each scanning line by detecting the start bar 6 and the start code 7 . The bar group can therefore begin at different heights above the floor wall. Within a sorting line Kings nen are detected while maintaining the position of the camera 9 different packaging boxes, ie for. B. beer crates for different fla's sizes, mineral water boxes and the like.
This vertical scanning makes the detection of the marking field very variable. No exact alignment and adjustment of the camera is required to recognize the marking field. Rather, it detects the marking field with the help of the start bar 6 and the start code 7 electronically.
