Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for Intermediate storage of batches of flat products, especially of folded sheet stacks, as well as for selection, Sorting and straightening incorrectly collected and / or lying stack of folded sheets, like this one in too technological Lines for the production of book blocks, brochures or Like. Chained production lines, especially after together carrier machines, collecting devices and the like are.
In the fields of processing technology, techno logical lines memory use for the purpose of Compensation of short downtimes from upstream or downstream processing machines the products to be processed record or deliver, the operating conditions of chained machines are taken into account.
With DE-OS 33 47 552 is a method including associated device for temporarily storing products has become known with which the products in the event of a fault in the Packaging machine according to the paternoster principle, i.e. lower right to the funding level, in the way who is cached the by clicking on a below in the area of the transfer point broken table are pushed through its passage openings the carriers of a storage conveyor run and in a coordinated operation of the Means of transport and the storage conveyor the drivers are recorded and saved. After besei The malfunction causes the products to work in reverse direction in the somewhat faster work cycle of the packaging ma seem to be released again. Known with DE-OS 28 00 570 memory arrangement has worked on the same radio principle. In the storage process according to the paternoster in principle, it is not possible to collect incorrectly Correct the stack of folded sheets. In known facilities on collating machines that are missing or double sheets stop, the correct order of the folded sheets in the Only stack or remove faulty folded sheets by hand be made or made.
The aim of the invention is a method and an apparatus for the temporary storage of unassembled, collated To create stacks of flat products with which to appear tendency malfunctions on one or more processing machines of the production line and related Occurrence of incorrectly assembled product stacks as well as missing and / or double sheets of the manufacturing process for the The duration of the troubleshooting does not have to be interrupted.
The invention is therefore based on the object, the method and to develop the device such that both Selecting and sorting incorrectly compiled and / or lying product stack as well as the function automatic feeder securing the production line Product stack in the processing process or their automatic storage in the event of malfunctions on upstream or downstream processing machines Production line is secured.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that one, having at least two storage units Device incorrectly collected and / or lying de stack of folded sheets from the one upstream in the conveying direction Storage unit and flawlessly collected and / or lying stack of folded sheets in the event of faults on one of the machines downstream of the storage device Processing line of at least one of the storage ag fault downstream in the conveying direction gregat be included. It makes sense to use one or several sensors the folding sheet to be processed to generate gene stacks assigned signals by the at incorrectly collected folded sheet stacks a switch in Direction of the associated storage unit and in the event of an error loosely gathered sheets of folded sheets the same turnout Direction of the downstream processing machine becomes. This creates the prerequisite for the Products of the selected folded sheet stacks in one sort station in the intended order and / or location leads and transferred to the downstream fault storage unit ben can, so that in this a complete sequence of occupied storage space is secured. It is also possible Lich, when the storage units are shut down tere processing machine the folded sheet stacks in one of the the upstream storage unit downstream fault storage units via the functionally assigned switch and when the upstream of the storage units is at a standstill Processing machine the stack of folded sheets from the fault storage unit via a second, functionally assigned Turnout to len in the downstream processing machine ken. If several fault storage units are arranged between the switch of the upstream storage unit and the after switched processing machine can control the Turnouts are made so that the filling level of the fault storage units in the conveying direction of the folded sheet stack takes, with that of the processing machine next Most lying aggregate is filled before the next one Most folded sheet stack are fed and that at partial or complete emptying of the fault memory (s) aggregate the filling principle is reversed, i.e. the disturbances tion storage units in the conveying direction one after the other be emptied. The device for performing the method is conveniently designed so that between two Processing machines a storage device for faulty collated stack of folded sheets and at least one Fault storage unit are switched that before Storage unit one or more sensors are arranged, that the upstream in the conveying direction behind the sensors Storage unit a switch and the or Fault storage units a switch for filling and a Functionally assigned switch for emptying the units are and that the upstream storage unit and the or the fault storage units functionally coupled with each other pelt are, in this connection a sorting station is switched. Are several fault storage units pre-selected can see the fault storage units in the conveying direction the folded sheet stack between the assigned Turnout and processing machine arranged in series will. The advantage of the method according to the invention finally the device for caching Stacked flat products consists in the Ensuring the functionality of the production line good quality even if a fault occurs on one the processing machines in front of or behind the bean wanted device by the storage units automa be emptied or loaded. Another advantage is that the incorrectly collected and / or lying Products automatically selected from the product stream, sor tiert or directed and then a fault memory aggregate can be fed.
In der Zeichnung zeigtThe invention is based on an exemplary embodiment are explained in more detail. In the drawing shows

Fig. 3 die Mehrfachanordnung des Störungsspeicheraggregates. Fig. 3 shows the multiple arrangement of the fault storage unit.
As shown in Fig. 1, between the processing machine 1 and this downstream processing machine 2 of the production line, the upstream storage unit gat 3 for incorrectly collected and / or lying folded sheet stack and a fault storage unit 4 are switched. In the conveying direction upstream of the storage unit 3 are Senso ren 5 is arranged and behind the sensors 5 is the storage unit 3 associated with the signal associated with the sensors 5 Soft. 6 The switch 7 for filling and the switch 8 for emptying are functionally assigned to the fault storage unit 4 . The storage unit 3 and the Störungsspei cheraggregat 4 are functionally coupled to one another, the sorting station 9 being connected in this connection. In FIG. 2, the basic structure is shown one of the memory units used in the inventive device. The storage pockets 10 are secured at the reversal points of the endless traction means 13 running over the drive wheel 11 and the deflection wheel 12 by cover plates 14 in order to prevent the products from falling out. The storage capacity of the fault storage unit 4 can be expanded as desired in the manner shown in FIG. 3, in which several fault storage units, for example 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 , are assigned to the combined turnouts 15 , depending on the expected average downtime of the processing machines of the production line are.
Error-free folded sheet stacks are conveyed isochronously by means of conventional conveyors directly from the processing machine 1 to the processing machine 2 . The switches 6, 7 and 8 are switched for passage in this operating state. If stacks of folded sheets are collected incorrectly, are in an unintentional position or the processing machine 1 is faulty, these are recognized by the sensors 5 and guided into the storage unit 3 via the switch 6 . For the time of the interruption of the direct product flow, the switch 7 is actuated by means of a signal coming from the sensors 5 and the folded sheet stacks stored in the fault storage unit 4 are directed to the processing machine 2 .
In the event of failure of the processing machine 2, on the other hand, all of the folded sheet stacks produced by the collating machine 1 that is still in production reach the storage pockets 10 of the fault storage unit 4 via the switch 7 provided by a signal. The delivery or take-up speed of the folding sheet stacks from or to the storage units is controlled synchronously with the cycle of all processing machines, including the conveyor system of the production line. Therefore, the further processing of the folded sheets does not have to be interrupted in both malfunctions.
The faulty folded sheet stack located in the storage unit 3 are selected in the sorting station 9 and brought into the correct position and / or sequence and fed to the fault storage unit 4 in such a way that a complete sequence of occupied storage spaces is created in this.
The corrected Falzbo genstapel coming from the sorting station 9 are each entered in the first free storage space of the storage unit 3 .
If several fault storage units 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 are arranged, the filling of the units is ensured via a corresponding number of switches and a suitable control system such that the fault storage unit 4.3 closest to the processing machine 2 is filled first and the fault storage unit 4.1 is filled last. If no products come from the processing machine, these units are emptied in reverse order. It is ensured with the control system of the device that in the För dersystem each arriving at the processing machine 2 is occupied with a product.
