Abstract

In jarring mechanisms for the compaction of mouldings, especially for the production of carbon electrodes for the aluminium industry, contrarotating unbalance weights have been arranged on the jarring table as vibration exciters. However, since with increasing compaction of the moulding a higher frequency with a smaller amplitude leads to optimum compaction, it was necessary to compromise between maximum frequency and maximum permissible inertia forces. In order to achieve this, it was hitherto necessary to put the jarring mechanism out of operation and to provide the jarring drive with correspondingly modified unbalance weights. However, this cannot be achieved for operational reasons. Mit Hilfe dieser gegenläufig rotierenden Un­ wuchten kann zwar durch Veränderung der Drehzahl auf die beim Rüttelvorgang bzw. Verdichtungsprozeß jeweils erfor­ derliche Frequenz Einfluß genommen werden, nicht aber auf die für die Verdichtung des jeweiligen Formkörpers erfor­ derliche Schwingungsamplitude. Um dies zu erreichen, müßte man daher bei den bisher bekannten Rüttelanlagen zur Ver­ dichtung des Formkörpers die Rüttelanlage von Zeit zu Zeit außer Betrieb setzen und den Rüttelantrieb mit jeweils entsprechend geänderten Unwuchtmassen versehen. Dies ist jedoch aus betriebstechnischen Gründen nicht realisierbar. Die Veränderung der Schwingungsamplitude erfolgt hierbei in einfacher Weise durch Veränderung der Hubhöhe des Kolbens (6) im Zylinder (7), die ebenso wie die Frequenz durch die Ansteuerung der elektro-hydrauli­ schen Ventilsteuerung (10) vorgegeben werden kann.
