Ein nachgeschalteter elektronischer Thermostat mit elektromagnetischem Absperrventil gewährleistet, daß auch bei Ausfall einer der vorgeschalteten Tempera­ turfühler u./o. Schaltthermostate kein übermäßig er­ wärmtes Blut zurückgeführt wird. Das Blut wird weiter durch einen Flachbehälter geführt, der bei entprechen­ der Indikation mit UV-Licht bestrahlt werden kann; der Flachbehälter dient hierbei zur Vergrößerung der Bestrahlungsfläche. Danach ist ein handelsüblicher Luftfänger mit Ventil geschaltet, der der Vermeidung von Lufteinschlüssen im Blut dient und somit der Gefahr einer Luftembolie wirksam vorbeugt.
