Die Farbintensität des Schriftbildes nimmt bei gleichzeitiger Erhöhung der Standzeit des Farbbandes zu. Als vorteilhaft erweist sich zudem, daß die Verschmutzung von Typen, Nadeln und Nadelkanälen abnimmt und daß beispielsweise bei hochwer­ tigen Nadeldruckern mit nur 0,2 mm dicken Nadeln in ebenso engen Nadelkanälen der Verschleiß von Nadeln und Nadelkanälen deutlich zurückgeht.
