Je nach Zerspanungsfähigkeit der Schleifscheiben werden die 2 Schleifköpfe (5) bis auf einen einstellbaren Betrag von 0,2 bis 0,5 mm aufeinander zugefahren. Während dieses Aus­ schneidevorganges werden die Halter (8) mit den Greifern (7) auf die Glastafel gedrückt und von den rotierenden Schleif­ köpfen (5) über die Mitnehmer (8) mitgedreht. Der Greifer (7) auf dem Rohling steht fixiert auf der Mitte; zwischen Hal­ ter (8) und Greifer (7) befindet sich ein Drehlager. Für den Fall, daß die auszuschneidenden Rohlinge keine Kreisform haben, werden die beiden Antriebe: "Hub-Horizontal" (12) und "Hub-Veritikal" (11) zuhilfe genommen, wobei der An­ trieb (2) die Tangentialsteuerung (2) der Schleifscheiben übernimmt. Die Ecken dieser Rohlinge müssen grundsätz­ lich mit einem Radius zwischen R min. und R max. ausge­ führt werden. Sollte die Greifervorrichtung auch für diese Ausschneidevariante benutzt werden, muß der Greifer (7) als Laufrolle ausgeführt sein, damit er entsprechend des Profil­ verlaufs auf der Glastafel rollen kann. Mit dieser Greif­ vorrichtung kann nach Beendigung des Ausschneidevorganges, d. h., wenn die Schleifscheiben (6) sich bis auf 0,2 mm /0,5 mm (Restwandstärke der Glastafel) genähert haben, der Ausbrechvorgang eingeleitet werden, indem eine Seite des Greiferhubs drucklos geschaltet wird und die andere Seite den Glasrohling aus der Tafel herausdrückt.The glass sheet is placed between the two grinding heads ( 5 ), these are in the end position via the positioning drives ( 1 ) (greatest distance between the grinding wheels ( 6 )).
