die Streckung des Metalls verhältnismäßig langsam und seine Bearbeitung meist ungleichmäßig;
Machine for striking sheet metal. For striking sheet metal
machines are known in which a toothed disc enclosing the material to be blown opens
the anvil is set in rotating and reciprocating motion at the same time.
The shape is guided under the hammer in a radial pattern from the center
outgoing tracks in which the hammer blows continuously from the inside to the outside
hit the material and according to the gradually increasing expansion
of the material to be felled can be guided up to the edge. The shift of the
Form is made by a thumb cone in such a way that by using different zones
the same the displacement of the shape can be changed from its central position.
When using these machines, the hammer strikes approximately q. up to 6 minutes
the same places of the metal, what is known as vTourcc. before

During the following »tour«, the metal hammer has the feed or control lever
of the thumb cone to rotate. This has certain disadvantages. Most of all it takes place
the stretching of the metal is relatively slow and its processing mostly uneven;
In addition, the thumb cone is gradually grooved by the push lever.
The purpose of the present invention is to avoid these disadvantages. These
consists essentially in the fact that the advance of the longitudinally displaceable thumb cone
it follows automatically while striking. This causes the blows to fall after each one
Rotation of the form always to other parts of the metal, which is both faster
Stretching and a more even structure of the metal sheets result. the
Advance movement of the thumb cone is expedient with the involvement of a
Translation of the rotary motion of any rotating part of the machine,
best of the thumb cone itself, derived so that upon rotation of the latter
its automatic displacement in the axial direction takes place during striking.
A device can also be provided for the feed device
to be able to move out as needed. After completing each »tour«, the thumb cone can
brought back to its starting position and processed for the next
Form to be provided. Are all forms (usually 6) with the first "tour"
If it is broken through, it is no longer necessary to reset the feed lever, as was previously the case
the thumb disc, but you can start immediately with the penetration of the second »tour«
start with all shapes until the latter are finished.
An embodiment of the machine according to the invention is shown in Fig. = In front view with partial section and in Fig. 2 in front view with partial section. A driving pin a is attached to the cam wheel k of the thumb cone shaft, which drives the thumb cone and acts on a ratchet wheel b of the correspondingly mounted shaft c, for example, provided with 10 teeth. A worm d sits on shaft c and engages worm gear e of a shaft f. On this sits the comb wheel g, which is in engagement with a rack h. The latter, guided in a corresponding manner, is connected to the axis L of the thumb cone in such a way that it must take part in the displacement of the rack h, but can rotate independently of the latter. The device works in the following way. The driver pin a moves the ratchet wheel b by one tooth after each revolution of the thumb cone gear k. This movement is transmitted through the shaft c and worm d to the worm wheel e and the comb wheel g. As a result, the toothed rack h and thus the thumb disk shaft l are slowly moved inwards. The consequence of this is that the hammer blows are no longer distributed over the same path as before, but are slowly placed side by side against the edge of the metal sheet.
On the shaft f, a clutch, for. B. a cone clutch
i, sit, which is usually switched on, the wave f with the one in this case
loosely on her seated comb wheel g connects and when disengaging the feed device
turns off so that the rack h is no longer shifted. To this
Way hammers, which are provided with the device described, can also without
these works.
