Abstract
Description
In machines for the treatment of material webs, especially in paper machines in which the material web is guided over rollers, for example in paper machines The material web is over the rollers of the dryer section not inconsiderable in the distances between the rollers exposed to mechanical stress. In these stretches different forces act on the material web, such as Negative pressure in the gusset behind the peel line Material web from the roller, dynamic pressure in the gusset in front of the Line of run of the material web on the roller and others Forces arising from the material web and / or a accompanying carrier tape, in particular a felt, entrained air and the differential speed of the Material web to the ambient air result. This and others Forces have a destabilizing effect on the leadership of the Material web in these routes. The web of material is therefore particularly vulnerable to demolition in these routes.
Diese Problematik ist seit langem bekannt. This problem has been known for a long time.
In cases where the material web is guided more stably these on both the top and bottom, heated rollers wrap around the supporting belt is supported, it has been shown that such Carrying tape alone does not allow stable guidance to be achieved, because through boundary layer flows on the air-permeable moving carrier tape, especially in the gussets on the Transfer line and the ramp line, a pressure difference which strives to remove the material web from the Take off the lanyard. To eliminate this problem are in the prior art blown air-fed boxes on the side of the air-permeable carrier tape facing away from the material arranged by means of which the carrier tape with negative pressure is applied (DE 32 36 576 C2, DE 33 39 044 A1, DE 35 04 820 A1).
You leave are therefore not realized with material webs that with two conveyor belts, for the upper and lower roller separately, in free movement over the routes between the Rolls are guided. To the stability of leadership in this to improve free-run routes, it is known, in the gusset in front of the path of the material web Blow air nozzles to be arranged, which are opposite to the direction of rotation Material web based on the principle of the injector effect pump the gusset and thus the overpressure in this gusset dismantle (weekly paper production 4 1986 pages 99 up to 104 "web stabilizers in dryer sections high-speed paper machines ").
It is also used to stabilize the material web known in the free guided routes, the material web either lead over blow boxes that are under vacuum act on the material web (DE 36 30 571 A1) or via Wings, between which and the material web Air cushion is built up (DE 37 31 541 A1).
In the first case, the material web is stabilized with a Vacuum zone is provided that a blow box on his has two longitudinal edges of blowing nozzles, from which air in flows in the opposite direction. Through this air achieved that between the web and one between A negative pressure area is created on the wall of the nozzles.
In the second case, the air cushion between the Material web and the wing through which of the Air entrained in the material web is formed over a Wedge zone in the narrower area between the material web and the wing.
In both cases, the desired effect is a channel closed on both sides, the one on one side through the material web itself and on the other side is limited by the wall or the wing, necessary, because otherwise there is no negative pressure or positive pressure can build up. That means that on the edges one Material web where there is neither an overpressure nor a vacuum this way can be built up the desired one Effect of the more stable material web guidance with these Means cannot be achieved.
Based on this state of the art, the Invention a method for stabilizing the flutter sloping edges of free-moving material webs, in particular paper webs in paper machines, by means of Blown air and a device for stabilizing the Fluttering inclined edges guided in free movement Material webs, especially paper webs in the Drying section of paper machines with blowing air nozzles.
Studies on material webs have shown that in middle section of the freely guided material web the edges tend to flutter. The at this point occurring stress on the material web due to the flutter is particularly useful for tearing off the material web Paper webs dangerous because of one High pressure water jet cut paper edge one has a fibrous course and - microscopically - in Cross-section has a steady thinning in view has small indentations. These are "seeds" for demolition the material web. A tear of the material web leads to a Business interruption resulting in high operating costs of a paper machine leads to high losses.
The object of the invention is a method and To propose device of the aforementioned type in which or which suppresses the edge flutter or up to Harmlessness is reduced.
This task is solved procedurally in that each Edge of the material web in the area that tends to flutter of their free range of one Blown air flow is enveloped which is the same Speed and the same direction as that Material web. Thereby, the one assigned to each edge Blown air flow preferably through two the web of material inflowing at a flat angle on both sides Blown air jets generated.
In terms of device, this object is achieved in that the blown air nozzles are formed in this way in each web edge and are aligned that their blown air jets the Edges in a direction aligned with the direction of web travel Envelop airflow at web speed. According to a design, each web edge should be on A blowing air nozzle is assigned to each side of the material web be. The pair assigned to a web edge is preferably Blowing air nozzles from a fork-shaped one Air supply carried, the web edge and the traction an optionally provided insertion device for the Include web of material.
The invention is based on the knowledge that Gusset with the back pressure an interference flow over the Web edge in the gusset with the vacuum itself trains. Because at the edge of the material web the otherwise on both Existing boundary layer from material web sides entrained air is not available Material edge of this interference flow immediately and moreover the flow resistance of their Suspended speed so that it flapped becomes. The measures according to the invention now create through artificially generated air flow on a protective jacket the web edge so that the web edge is not longer the still existing interference flow and its Flow resistance is exposed. This way the flapping effectively counteracted. That means the web of material is less likely to tear. The machine can therefore with higher material web speed are operated.
Im einzelnen zeigtIn the following the invention with reference to a drawing explained in more detail. In detail shows

Fig. 11 is a diagram for the middle speed applied over the run in the free train route of the material web according to Fig. 6.
In Fig. 1, the paper web 1 rotates the drying cylinders 2, 3 and 4 . An upper felt 5 holds the paper web 1 firmly on the cylinders 2 and 4 and is deflected around the roller 6 . A lower felt 7 runs around the rollers 8 and 9 and holds the paper web 1 around the drying cylinder 3 . The paper web 1 runs from the drying cylinder 2 at point A and runs onto the drying cylinder 3 at point B. In the running gusset, which begins at A , the cylinder circumference and the paper web move in the direction of the arrow, so that air flows in according to arrow 10 . In the gusset of the web running on cylinder 3 at point B , the boundary layer friction of web and cylinder circumference in the direction of the arrow creates an overpressure, so that air flows out of this gusset according to arrow 11 . Between the arrows 10 and 11 , a flow of interference flows around the web edge according to the flow arrow 12 . Arranged in the gusset behind the detachment line is a first blowing nozzle 13, indicated by a point, and on the other side of the web edge, a second blowing nozzle 14, indicated by a point, for forming the protective flow on the free-running route between A and B. The same conditions prevail between cylinders 3 and 4 , but because of the paper web running upwards with correspondingly reversed arrow directions.
Fig. 2 shows the free-running paper web 1 in the route between A and B in an enlarged view. It is surprising and typical that the fluttering occurs predominantly in the middle third of the distance AB , that is between C and D , and has about 3 to 5 antinodes, of which 4 are drawn.
Fig. 3 shows the cross section of the paper web 1 with its web edge 15 and its two-sided barrier 16 at the quiet running of the paper web 1. The delimitation of the boundary layer 16 is represented by the dashed line 17 , which tapers towards the web edge 15 , since the sharp web edge 15 is unable to form a boundary layer.
Fig. 4 shows as Fig. 3 shows a cross-section of the paper web 1 with its boundary layer 16 and the demarcation 17 18 and 19, through which the web edge 15 in accordance flutters double arrow 20 under the action of the direction indicated in Fig. 1 with flow arrows 10-12 disturbing flow, so that the boundary layer 16 is greatly thinned toward the web edge 15 .
FIG. 5 shows the paper web 1 with its web edge 15 , its boundary layer 16 and its boundary 17 and a circular protective flow 21 around the web edge 15 which, according to FIG. 1, starts from the blowing nozzles at points 13, 14 . The protective flow 21 has the boundary 22 undisturbed. The cross-section of the protective flow is somewhat impaired by the action of the interfering flows 18 and 19 , but the web edge 15 remains unaffected in the center.
In the free-moving paper web 1 shown in FIG. 6 between the discharge point A of the cylinder 2 and the discharge point B of the cylinder 3 , the blow nozzle 13 is in the gusset of the discharge point A and the blow nozzle 14 on the other side of the paper strip 1 arranged. Various cutting planes LO for identifying the protective flow 21 are entered to the right of the paper web 1 . In the sectional plane L , the air emerges from the blowing nozzles 13 and 14 at a flat angle of approximately 5 ° to the web edge. In the sectional plane M, the blowing jets touch the web edge with their jacket 22, shown in dashed lines and having a cone tip angle of approximately 10 °. In the sectional plane N , the beam center 24 shown in dash-dotted lines reaches the web edge and in the sectional plane O the beam has traveled about twice as much as to the plane N.
FIG. 7 shows the view of the blowing nozzles 13, 14 perpendicular to the paper plane according to the cutting plane EF in FIG. 6, while FIG. 8 shows the blowing nozzles 13, 14 seen in a view against the web running direction according to the section line IK of FIG. 7. The blowing nozzles 13, 14 blow air in the direction 24 onto the web edge 15 of the paper web 1 . In order to make the jet edge 22 softer, there is a small angle α between the web edge 15 and the blow jet 24, as a result of which the blow nozzle 13 dips somewhat into the gusset. If papers tend to stick to the cylinder so that there is a risk that the detachment point A will migrate towards the blowing nozzle 13 , it is conversely advantageous to set the angle α to the outside so that there is no risk of contact between the paper web 1 and the blowing nozzle 13 .
The air is fed to the blowing nozzles 13 and 14 through a hose 25 which is connected to a hollow head piece 26 . From this head piece 26 , two air ducts 28 go in a fork shape to the blowing nozzles 13 and 14 . The head piece 26 is fastened to the piston rod head 27 of a cylinder, not shown, which pulls the blowing nozzles 13, 14 back from the area of the paper web edge in the direction of the arrow 29 . Between the fork-shaped design of the air inlets 28 , the two ropes 30 of a paper inlet have space, which are guided by pulleys 31 next to the cylinders 2 .
FIG. 9 shows the expansion of the jet of the protective flow 21 in different planes LO of FIG. 6. In the sectional planes L and M the two blowing jets are still separated, while they are combined in the sectional planes N and O.
Fig. 10 shows the diagram for the middle speed of blow jets in dimensionless representation. The abscissa is the distance of the measuring plane from the blow jet mouth x in logarithmic division as a multiple of the blow diameter d . The ordinate shows the average velocity of the blow jet in the jet axis, that is the maximum velocity in percent of the original velocity in logarithmic division. The reading can be read on three lines for different degrees of turbulence m . The degree of turbulence m can be assumed to be 0.25 for the application of the invention in the blow-out area and 0.2 in the further course.
Fig. 11 shows the velocity diagram between the drain point A and point B of the run a distance of 1200 mm, it is assumed for the subsequent calculation. The speed of the paper machine v P is 1000 m / min = 16.6 m / sec. The blowing nozzles have a blowing diameter d of 12.5 mm and a blowing speed v o of 100 m / s. The distance from the blow-out plane L to the point of impact of the blasting media N is 250 mm, which is a distance x of 20 d . A speed v m of 20%, that is to say 20 m / sec, can then be read from the diagram 10 . For the speed in level O , the distance x is to be extended by the distance NO . From the level N on, the two blowing jets are combined, so that that of the combined cross-section, that is to say d = 17.5 mm, is to be expected for the blowing jet diameter. The distance LO = 34 d and the turbulence factor have thus fallen to approximately m = 0.2. The average speed v m can then be read at 14 m / s. In the N plane there is an overspeed of 3.4 m / s and in the O plane there is an underspeed of 2.6 m / s. Since the frictional forces increase with the square of the speed and the differential speed is decisive here, the frictional force and thus the risk of the web edge tearing is extremely reduced.
From Fig. 11 also shows that the air velocity of flow protection in the plane C, which normally starts flapping, achieved only good for half the web speed, so that the calming of the web edge may not be enough. In such a case, an additional nozzle in position 32 of FIG. 6 helps, the jet direction of which is directed in the middle between the blowing nozzles 13 and 14 . The air speed reached in this way is plotted in FIG. 11 as a dashed curve, it shows the considerable advance of the protective flow to a sufficient extent.
