Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an arrangement capable of egg Neat hull, in an appropriate size, by arm and leg force to move forward in connection with a rudder system. This arrangement consists of a flat hull (surf board) or a buoyant and buoyant boat. On the sub On the side of the hull are two side by side cylinders attached to the hull with two internal col ben, special construction. Through two slots in the hull per slide the piston rods that move forward and backward be moved; they establish a connection between the control levers and the drive system. The rudder lever is with the piston rod connected. There are two slide rails on the hull mounted, which guide the roller seat carriage. That sleigh causes a larger rowing path and thus increases the outward and way of the rowing movement. Moving the two rudder levers or the movement of the entire oar linkage on the actual che drive system, caused by the return movement of the pistons in the cylinders, quickly squeezing the water out of the Cylinders, which makes the boat body according to the recoil principle is driven forward. At the same time, the water flows in the open cylinders of both systems and refills them. Before the Squeezing the water out of the cylinders closes automatically table the rotary valve. The return process opens automatically the rotary valve and the water flow freely through the cylinder until a new work cycle is initiated.
Rowing and paddle boats, canoes and kayaks and others are known Types of boats equipped with oars for propulsion and operated with arm strength. They sit in the racing rowing boats Rowers on sleds and row with oars; doing dew put the rudder blades into the water and float with muscle force the racing boat forward using arm and leg movements.
(Fahrtrichtung gleich Blickrichtung). The inventive idea causes the uncomfortable rudders to disappear straps that are unwieldy and uncomfortable for water rowers are. Instead of the oars, a new rudder system will be launched poses. (Direction of travel equals viewing direction).
The rudder levers are moved forward and backward, with the hands grasping the rudder lever handles on the rudder levers. Both rudder levers are arranged separately, since this arrangement consists of two separate systems ( Fig. 5). Better steering or better boat guidance is achieved by actuating the left or right system, or both systems at the same time, which drives the hull forward. It is important that both feet on the adjustable support boards find their hold, which are secured by loops, so that the roller-seat slide, by stretching and contracting the legs of the rower, is moved in both directions. The interaction of arm and leg forces on the system, through the movement on the piston located in the cylinder, exert a pressure on the water, thereby producing a propulsion that moves the hull forward.
The pistons are designed so that the water can flow through or blocks the flow in the work cycle, i.e. the valves of both Systems close automatically.
A flow of water is guaranteed when the pistons advance Steady so that the cylinders are filled with water. When returning ren, or during the work cycle, the ven tile and the water is ge with great pressure from the cylinders driven, causing the hull to move forward puts. The hull is steered or controlled by the Rudder located at the stern. The between the control handlebar and rope tensioned on the support boards, caused by the feet actuated tilting support boards, turning the rudder and thus driving to starboard or port. A sliding roller le on the rudder lever and a stabilizing bar below the rud the lever stabilize the guidance of the piston rod.
This will simplify the drive system is enough that instead of the two rudder cylinders, drive fins un structurally mounted on the rudder levers below the hull will. They work on the principle of the duck fin. This to drive system is used for small boats and is for young people athletes.
A hull consisting of two hulls is considered one res watercraft, which the stability of a catamaran owns. Single or multi-piston systems are on the hull assembled. A sail can be set.
The invention is described below with reference to Ab educated on embodiments explained in more detail.

The overall view ( Fig. 1) shape and equipment of the boat body ( 1 ) and the arrangement of the drive system. The rower ( 4 ) sits on the roller seat carriage ( 5 ) and operates both rudder levers ( 3 ). The roller seat slide rolls on the slide rails ( 6 ) and is stopped by the limiters ( Fig. 2/14). Above the hull are support boards ( 2 ) with axis of rotation ( 13 ), rudder ( 9 ), steering link ( 8 ) and rope ( 7 ). The ropes are connected to the support boards and, by pressing one of the support boards, serve to steer the boat, the rudder ( 9 ) deflecting to starboard or port. The support boards also give the rower the right grip when rowing. The deflector ( 12 ) protects the drive system from damage.
Eine Querschnittzeichnung (Abb. 2) zeigt das Ruder- bzw. Antriebs system. A cross-sectional drawing ( Fig. 2) shows the rudder or drive system. The ball-bearing piston ( 17 ) slides in the cylinder ( 22 ). The recoil of the piston is initiated by the rudder's arm and leg strength by pulling the rudder lever ( 3 ) backwards. When moving forward, the piston slides into the starting position; the rotary valve ( 27 ) opens and the water flows into the cylinder ( 22 ). In the recoil position, the rotary valve closes automatically and, by squeezing out the water, propels the boat.
The stabilizing rod ( 19 ) and the support rollers ( 20 ) prevent the piston from being forced into the cylinder. The stabilizing rod in the bearing block ( 15 ) is equipped with ball bearings ( 21 ). The support rollers mounted on the upper part of the stabilizing bar ( 19 a ) slide on metal strips of the slot cladding ( 42 ). The piston rod ( 18 ) is mounted on the bearing cross ( 43 ) of the piston. The adjustable support boards ( 2 ) are located on the front part of the hull. The arrow shows the rowing path of the rudder linkage in the slot ( 11 ). The rudder lever can be tilted on the tilt joint ( 24 ). Both cylinders are mounted on the bearing block ( 15 ). They are protected by the deflector ( 12 ).
Fig. 3 shows the cross section of the piston. The piston slides in the cylinder ( 22 ) and is equipped with piston bearing rings ( 25 ). The piston rod ( 18 ) is located on the end face, on the bearing cross ( 43 ). In the piston, the rotary valve ( 27 ) with the rotary valve axis ( 26 ) is arranged ex-centrically and opens and closes automatically in accordance with the water flow. A stop ( 28 ) limits the position of the rotary valve in one direction.
Fig. 4 shows the piston in perspective. The piston bearing rings ( 25 ) can be seen in this figure. The water flowing into the piston flows through the free positions of the bearing cross ( 43 ).
In the front views Fig. 5/6, both drive systems are shown with one or two cylinders. The stabilizing rods ( 19 a ) move in the slot ( 11 ). Cylinder ( 22 ), piston ( 17 ) and piston rod ( 18 ) form the drive unit. The roller seat slide ( 5 ) slides with the rollers ( 16 ) in the slide rails. The support rollers ( 20 ) increase the stability of the drive linkage. The support floats ( 39 ) with the supports ( 40 ) give the hull more stability and are removable. The rudder lever handles are located on the rudder lever ( 3 ). The tilt joint ( 24 ) lies between the rudder lever ( 3 ) and the stabilizing rod ( 19 a ), support float ( 39 ) and supports ( 40 ) can be mounted on the hull ( 1 ) for stabilization. The cylinders ( 22 ) are attached to the bearing block ( 15 ).
Fig. 7 shows a perspective view of an additional version with a modified drive system for small boats or for surfboards. Rudder lever ( 30 ) with drive fin ( 32 ) forms the actual drive system. By the tilt joint ( 33 ) the drive fin is limited to the vertical position and forms a resistance through the rudder movements; the water is displaced or expelled. This recoil propels the boat forward. In the other direction, the drive fin tilts into the horizontal position, as is shown in the illustration with the letters A and B. A boom ( 29 ) with a boom support ( 35 ) stabilizes the hull ( 1 ). The seat unit ( 41 ) consists of one piece and is secured by fastening screws ( 34 ). The rudder lever bearing ( 38 ) receives the rudder levers ( 30 ). A guide pin ( 37 ) slides into the hull. The adjustable foot holder ( 36 ) gives the rower the necessary hold.
