Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for sintering Ceramic raw foils stacked on top of each other.
Ceramic green foils are usually sintered in a stack, whereby the ceramic raw foil stack with a flat plate temperature-resistant material is weighed down and in a temperature-resistant capsule with a flat bottom surface becomes. So that the individual ceramic raw foils do not come together Inside the men and slightly separated from one another after sintering be placed between each layer of ceramic Brought a release agent to raw foils. It is known as a separator to use medium commercial zirconium oxide, the one typical particle size distribution from 0.1 to 20 microns. Here the zirconium oxide can be sprinkled on as a powder or as a paste or Emulsion can be processed.
These methods all have the disadvantages that zirconia residues left after sintering on the ceramic foils remain, the roughness of the surfaces and the sensitive Increase compared to mechanical rework and in case Piezo ceramic film has the piezoelectric properties worsen.
The object of the invention is a method for sintering of ceramic raw foils in a stack using zircon specify oxide as a release agent that the natural upper surface condition of the sintered ceramic foil possible little affected and when using less Zir quantities of oxide ensure optimum separability of the ceramic films delivers.
The object is achieved in that zirconium oxide par particles are brought whose particle diameter is the same or is slightly larger than the mean maximum roughness depth of the surface of sintered ceramic foil.
Further refinements of the invention can be found in the sub claims.
Through the use of monodisperse zirconium oxide, ie zirconium oxide with a very narrow particle size distribution, which are adapted to the condition of the surface of the ceramic film, optimum separability of the ceramic films can be achieved after sintering and at the same time the necessary amount of zirconium oxide can be kept low. Usually 1/10 to 1/20 of the amount of conventional processes is sufficient. On a ceramic raw film surface of approx. 30 µm 2 , a zirconium oxide particle can suffice on average, so that the majority of the ceramic raw film surface is free of zirconium oxide. The surface roughness of the ceramic foils after sintering is only slightly increased since no larger zirconium oxide particles are used. Thin zirconium oxide layers on the ceramic foils, which, for example, degrade the piezoelectric properties of piezoceramic foil, are avoided, since no smaller zirconium oxide particles are used that only form zircon-rich surface layers, but do not contribute to the spacing and separability during sintering. Another advantage of the method is the possibility of recycling the punching waste of the zirconium oxide-containing ceramic raw film, since small amounts of zirconium oxide are less harmful.
The method is further illustrated using an exemplary embodiment explained.
Fig. 1 shows a section of a stack of piezoceramic raw films 1 with zirconium oxide particles 2 , which are applied as a release agent between. The piezoceramic raw film has a typical thickness of 100 to 200 µm. The zirconium oxide particles have a diameter of 5 to 10 µm if the average maximum roughness of the surface of a sintered piezoceramic film is 5 µm.
