Description
The invention relates to a method for producing Plastic products, especially plastic pipes, according to the preamble of claim 1.
One way of reusing plastic regenerate is already known from special edition 6109 from Hoechst AG "Kunststoffe Hoechst". In this context emerges from the special print, for production from blow molded parts to plastic fresh material Add share of regrind. This special print is limited however, on reusing Regenerate to enrich the plastic fresh material.
From the magazine "Kunststoffe" (Volume 74, 1984, No. 8, Page 433) is the production of molded parts from plastic waste known. This plastic waste settles not just from the remains of thermoplastic materials together, but e.g. B. also thermosetting plastics, meltable elastomers. These different Waste is processed in a roller extruder (calender) plasticized and homogenized, after which from the different Waste material obtained by press molding the desired molded parts are produced. The end this journal allows for emerging procedures a relatively unrestricted processing of different waste, but requires intensive Preparation of waste, in particular through the necessary plasticization of the same requires energy is. In addition, the molded parts from which this Journal-related procedures are not immediate produced on the roller extruder (calender); much more on the subsequent additional facilities, namely press molds. This requires this familiar Procedures also require considerable equipment.
The prior art shown above is concerned with not with that when reprocessing especially at the production of leftover plastic films or reject foils arising problems. This problem is that the plastic regenerate through the very first manufacturing process, for example the production of films with appropriate additives (additives) is provided. It also has recycled plastic a different design than a first processed Virgin material (powder). This leads to reprocessing to significant problems because in contrast to the New material the plastic regenerate over a diminished Free flowing ability. Finally, the leads Processing of recycled plastic is another Problem with it, that is in the nature and Origin of the recycled plastic the regrind has a different bulk density.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to create a process that is more economical Wise plastic products, in particular Plastic pipes, made exclusively from regenerated plastic let extrude.
The method according to the invention has a solution to this problem the features of claim 1. Accordingly in the method according to the invention two measures with each other combined, namely the finest grinding constant cooling and extruding a mixture from different batches of ground plastic regenerate. The first measure is the one at Grinding of film residues creates the risk of clumping of the fine meal avoided; while through the second measure ensures that despite total different starting materials to form the finely ground Regenerates this sufficiently homogeneous is practically always with the same processing parameters to be able to offer on the extruder. In particular this does not apply to the status of Technology required by the magazine "plastics" Plasticizing and homogenizing, the work and is energy consuming.
The method according to the invention is particularly advantageous also because dealing with it in large quantities resulting film sections or reject films, which at of film production, have it reused. Recycling these plastics is particularly worthwhile also because usually for film production high quality plastics are used for example hard polyvinyl chloride. This can be reuse even if in the film remnants or already in the film committee for film production required additives are bound.
The fine grinding of the material to be prepared is expediently carried out Plastic through a fan mill commercial design. This gives the regenerate a relatively small grain size, namely preferably between 150 and 700 µm. This will, on the one hand ensures that the regenerate still has a free-flowing shape Grain, and on the other hand becomes dusty Shredding of the plastic to be ground avoided.
The regrind is preferably used before reprocessing colored, and dark. The regenerate can be made from all film waste regardless of the color of the same must become.
According to an advantageous development of the invention the finely ground regrind is not immediately supplied for further processing extruder. Rather, an intermediate storage takes place in several Silos. Due to different starting materials for the regeneration formation it is assumed that the individual silos regrind of different bulk density contain. Accordingly, a mixture of too processing regrind through targeted removal made of partial mixtures from different silos. According to the invention, this is a computer-controlled Weighing scales used the correct one Silos takes appropriate mixtures, such that a mixture with the desired, optimally processable Bulk weight of the regenerate arises.
Finally, it is suggested that the regenerate on the Away from the removal from the silos to the screw of the Keeping extruders constantly on the move, too in regions where there is no actual funding Senses. Discontinuities in the processing of the Plastic regenerates are effectively avoided.
Further advantageous refinements of the method according to the subclaims relate to the treatment of the regenerate in conveying, dosing and Mixing organs.
Using a preferred example of a plant for Processing and further processing of the regrind is a Example of the method according to the invention explained in more detail. This system is shown schematically in the single figure of the Drawing shown.
The device shown initially has a fine mill, namely a fan mill 10 . This can have a design known per se, although it has proven to be particularly advantageous to use a fan mill from the Con dux works, Hanau. The blower mill 10 , the plastic film remnants or the like made of hard PVC are preferably supplied in the form of cuts. Instead of plastic film chips, residues or rejects can also be used in other plastic processing operations.
In the very fine comminution of the plastic in the fan mill 10, it is expediently cooled to prevent the material to be heated to temperatures in or around the melting range of the respective plastic.
With a grain size of 150-700 μm, the plastic leaves the blower mill 10 as regrind. This is passed from here through an air filter 11 of conventional construction and passes from there through a separator, for example a cellular wheel separator 12 , into one of several silos 13 which are used for intermediate storage.
In the present exemplary embodiment, nine silos with a capacity of 20,000-30,000 kg each of the regenerate are provided. The silos are expediently loaded as a function of the respective bulk density of the regenerate batch, in such a way that 13 regenerates with a specific bulk density spectrum are stored in the individual silos.
From the individual silos 13 , the regrind can be removed in a targeted amount, for example by a further cell wheel separator 14 , and fed to a weigh feeder 15 . The weigh feeder 15 and the respective cellular wheel separator 14 under the silos 13 are controlled by a computer 25 in such a way that the specific bulk solids weight of the regenerate is mixed together by targeted removal of certain regenerate portions from the individual silos 13 . For this purpose, one of the silos 13 is a certain subset of a regrind from a batch with a larger bulk density when the dosing scale 15 contains a regrind with a low bulk density compared to the target bulk density in a certain filling state. The reverse procedure is followed if the regrind that is already in the dosing scale 15 has an excessive bulk density.
From the dosing scale 15 , this is fed into a mixer 16 in relation to the target bulk density from corresponding regrind portions from the different silos 13 . Here, the regrind mixed from individual subsets is mixed intensively, so that the mixer 16 leaves a regrind that is homogeneous with respect to the bulk density.
Das Fassungsvermögen des Schneckenmischsilos 17 beträgt im vorliegenden Falle etwa 8000 kg.From the mixer 16 , the regenerate enters from above into a silo that enables forced mixing, namely a screw mixing silo 17 . The latter has a customary structure, namely a central, vertical internal screw 18 which conveys the regenerate from the underside of the screw mixing silo 17 and distributes it at the upper end of the internal screw 18 to the rest of the regenerate contained in the screw mixing silo 17 . As a result, he follows a constant circulation of the regrind in the Schischen mischsilo 17 , which serves on the one hand to continue to homogenize the regrind in terms of its bulk density and on the other hand keeps the regrind constantly in motion. The capacity of the screw mixing silo 17 in the present case is approximately 8000 kg.
From the screw mixing silo 17 , the regrind reaches another, but smaller, mixing silo 19 with a capacity of approximately 1500 kg. The mixing silo 19 has the same construction as the screw mixing silo 17 , so it also has a central, upright internal screw 20 .
The additive mixer 22 has a (central) mixing container 23 and a plurality of metering pots 24 arranged thereon for receiving the additives to be supplied to the regenerate. This is a heat stabilizer, namely lead, calcium heat generator, internal and external stabilizers and possibly lubricants. In addition, a suitable agent for coloring, preferably carbon black, is fed to the regenerate at the mixing container 23 . After the mixing of the tube generator and the additives, it follows from the mixing container 23 a direct supply of the processable regrind (with additives) to the processing member of the extruder 21st
The Dosiertöpfen 24 associated vibration exciter which enable at regular time intervals, the metering pots 24 to vibrate. The vibration exciters (not shown) are preferably switched on briefly every fifteen to thirty minutes.
A twin-screw extruder has proven to be particularly advantageous as an extruder 21 for the reprocessing of the regrind prepared by the above method. For the twin screw, one with a steep, progressive pitch is advantageously used, namely a so-called R3 screw. Such an Extru the 21 has a commercially available design, for example, a twin-screw extruder of the type DS 10.5 from Maschinenfabrik Hans Weber KG, Kronach, can be used.
On the conveying paths schematically represented by black lines between the silos 13 and the mixing container 23 , in an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, the regrind is conveyed in conventional screws, which are set in vibration at regular or irregular intervals by appropriate vibration exciters, for example ( if not shown) electromagnetic vibrators.
The additives added to the raw granulate are composed of a basic recipe of 1.8 kg, which is common for extrusion, to which an additional 0.1 kg of carbon black and 0.8 kg of calcium stearate have been added. These additives are filled by tube generator to a total mixture of 100 kg and mixed in this weight ratio in the mixing tank 23 before the finished regenerate is fed to the twin screw of the extruder 21 .
It has been shown that film residues can be reprocessed smoothly using the process carried out on the system described above, with approximately the same production capacity as that which can be achieved with the extruder 21 used also when processing new material (powder). In particular, such an extrusion performance can be achieved if the Regen nerat has been made from recycled hard polyvinyl chloride.
