Description
The invention relates to a method for the Wastewater treatment, especially municipal wastewater and for sludge treatment, - being the raw sewage in a highly loaded adsorption stage and after introduced in a lightly loaded aeration stage, as well the excess sludge from the adsorption stage and from the Activation stage as excess sludge mixture after pre-thickening a sludge treatment stage, one an acidification reactor and one Has methane reactor. It is understood that the excess sludge from the adsorption stage and from the activation stage can also be subjected to a pre-thickening separately can. - Within the scope of the method according to the invention the wastewater is cleaned using the so-called adsorption technology (cf. "Correspondence sewage", 30th year, Issue 7, p. 452). According to the basic concept of adsorption technology and the present invention does not mechanical pre-cleaning. It is within the scope of the invention however, to provide one.
In a known method (DE-Z. "Water, energy, air" 1982, Issue 19, pp. 270-274) with a conventional biological treatment plant. An adsorption stage is not scheduled. The conventional biological Wastewater treatment plant sludge contains fibrous, for plait formation and fabrics that tend to form floating blankets. It is used with conventional digesters without a fixed bed reactor worked. The solids content of the sludge at treatment in the methane reactor is relatively low. To Acidification is a fixed bed reactor used in however, this is followed by a conventional digestion tower.
In a method known from practice, the Excess sludge from the adsorption stage and the excess sludge from the heavily loaded revitalization stage after the Pre-thickening is first dewatered, e.g. B. with the help of a Decanter or a dewatering screen, and after that introduced into the acidification reactor and into the methane reactor. The sludge mixture often becomes the raw sludge from the mechanical pre-treatment of the inflowing wastewater added. The solids content of the sludge mixture at Treatment in the methane reactor is 45 kg TS / m³ and can reach a maximum of 70 to 90 kg TS / m³. Operation of the methane reactor or the acidification reactor as a solid reactor is with sludge from conventional wastewater treatment plants not possible due to risk of constipation. On the other hand, it is notoriously that a company with a dry matter content from ≧ 50 to 60 kg TS / m³ without the addition of granular carrier material for the microbes as part of the known measures not possible.
The invention has for its object the generic To carry out procedures so that with a significantly increased Safe dry matter content in the methane reactor can be edited, and already without addition of granular carrier material for the microbes.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit dem eingangs beschriebenen Verfahren gelöst, wobeiThis task is accomplished with the method described in the introduction solved where
- a) die nicht entwässerte Überschußschlammischung einer mit einem "Grenzkorn" von ≦3 mm arbeitenden Feinreinigung mittels Rechen und/oder Sieben unterworfen wird,a) the non-dewatered excess sludge mixture with a "limit grain" of ≦ 3 mm fine cleaning is subjected to rakes and / or sieves,
- b) die feingereinigte Schlammischung durch pasteurisierende Erwärmung auf 70° bis 75°C und Versäuerung bei 45° bis 55°C verflüssigt und,b) the finely cleaned sludge mixture by pasteurizing Warming to 70 ° to 75 ° C and acidification at 45 ° to Liquefied at 55 ° C and,
- c) die verflüssigte Schlammischung in einem Festbett-Methanreaktor mit einem Trockensubstanzgehalt von über 100 kg TS/m³ weiterbehandelt wird.c) the liquefied sludge mixture in a fixed bed methane reactor with a dry matter content of over 100 kg TS / m³ is treated further.
Acidification is preferably carried out in a fixed bed Acidification reactor. It goes without saying that the cleaned Sludge mixture, which in the first stage by heating was pasteurized, then in a second stage can be liquefied in the acidification reactor. Liquefaction through pasteurization and acidification can also be carried out in an acidification reactor. According to the invention, this is in the acidification or methane reactor circulating wastewater fluid. The essential Part of the bacteria or the anaerobic activated sludge (round 80% to 85%) sits firmly on the fixed bed system, but is in the above task on the dry matter content included. The very thin liquid sewage sludge mixture with its own solids content of 30 to 50 g / m³ (= 3% up to 5% TS) is further treated in the fixed bed methane reactor. The total biomass available is increased by at least in the methane reactor, preferably also in the acidification reactor, for sessile bacteria additional settlement areas were created using fixed beds will. The sludge mixture can be in the fixed bed methane reactor with a dry matter content of 150 to 300 kg TS / m³ are treated.
The invention takes advantage of the fact that behind a cleaning system with highly loaded adsorption stage and weakly loaded Activation level through mechanical fine cleaning, performed with rakes and / or sieve drums a sludge mixture can be obtained that in fixed bed reactors like a highly concentrated wastewater can be treated without risk of constipation, whereby is exploited that both pasteurization and acidification causes further liquefaction. Falls Raw sludge from a rough pre-cleaning system, so can this is also subjected to fine cleaning and afterwards be added to the sludge mixture. But you could also at the beginning of the sewage path behind and / or before the usual Arrange a rake or sand trap on a screen that mechanical fine cleaning here. The fine cleaning takes place with a "limit grain" of ≦ 3 mm. The expression "Grenzkorn" here means that the maximum free space between the rake bars or sieve bars or sieve meshes 3 mm or is less. It goes without saying that the cellulose-dissolving substance of the finely cleaned sludge mixture zen, z. B. lysine. To the usual procedural para Adjust the meter, the sludge mixture in the acidifying reactor or in the fixed bed methane reactor of an inner and / or be subjected to external revolution. Internal revolution means a stirring, as it were, with whatever means the stirring ren is effected. For example, one can blow in the obtained Make methane gas. External circulation means a cycle management via appropriate lines.
The advantages achieved are summarized in the fact that in the methane reactor with a significantly increased dry substance the sludge mixture can be operated safely, and with a methane reactor that works as a fixed bed methane reactor is laid. The addition of granular carrier material is not required such. In particular, adding coal can make a noticeable higher pollutant degradation (= COD) can be achieved. As a result he is enough to reduce the space requirement or of the volume for the sludge treatment. Other advantages are that the state of the art Technology required drainage via decanters or drainage sieves or belt presses can be omitted. Also an one Thickening behind the acidification reactor is not necessary. At pasteurization leads to hydrolyzing the sludge mixture, as well as partial destruction of the cells and, as a result, liquefaction supply. A post-thickening behind the acidification reactor can a slight drainage at this point can be omitted but be functional and can be easily realized. It ver it is understood that activated carbon is added before the fixed bed methane reactor can be used to retain toxic substances or biodegradable to build. Lime can also be added before the methane reactor, if the level of acidification of the sewage sludge mixture is too high is. Because of the small volume it is possible to use appa to work with steel containers that are typed can. Otherwise, an increased yield of methane is achieved gas.
In the following the invention is based on a process scheme explained with embodiment.
A wastewater treatment plant with adsorption stage A and activation stage B is indicated schematically in the process diagram above. The raw wastewater runs from the left, the cleaned wastewater runs up to the right. The lines SR are used for sludge return. The sludge discharges SA open as feed line 1 in the downstream system according to the invention for excess sludge treatment.
In the lower process diagram you can see the feed line 1 for the excess sludge from the highly loaded adsorption stage and from the weakly loaded activation stage, the pre-thickener 2 a with downstream mechanical fine cleaning 2 b, the downstream immersion burner pasteurizer 3 and in the outgoing line 4 a pump 5 . One could also provide two separate pre-thickeners, one for the excess sludge from the adsorption stage and one for the excess sludge from the activation stage. The Ver acidification reactor 6 follows. He is a fixed bed acidification reactor with a fixed bed 7 . In the outgoing line 8 there is a further pump 5 if the acidification reactor is not raised to transport the sewage sludge mixture to the methane reactor in a free gradient. The methane reactor 9 is closed. It is also a fixed bed reactor with a fixed bed 10 . A post-thickening 11 with sludge recirculation and a drainage 12 follow. The cloudy water is fed to the cloudy water treatment via the lines 13 , the usual chemical substances for P reduction being added. Otherwise, the return line 14 is ruled out to the secondary thickener, which is led to the above-mentioned pump 5 before the fixed bed methane reactor. The resulting gas is withdrawn via line 15 and fed to a gasometer 16 . Gas which can be drawn off from the acidification reactor 6 can also be fed to the gasometer 16 via the line 19 . The line 17 is used to return gas from the gasometer 16 to the methane reactor 10 for the purpose of internal circulation. A degassing shaft 18 is connected downstream. At 20 , lime or coal can be added. The feed line 1 , the non-dewatered excess sludge from the adsorption stage and the non-dewatered excess sludge from the slightly polluted activation stage of the upstream cleaning system are fed as a sludge mixture after mechanical fine cleaning. The finely cleaned sludge mixture is pasteurized at 3 using the immersion burner and is already liquefied in the process. The pasteurized sludge mixture is then liquefied in the acidification reactor 6 by partially destroying the cells, it can then be further treated with a solids content of sessile and floating biomass of over 100 kg TS / m 3 in the fixed bed methane reactor 9 .
For an exemplary embodiment, it is assumed that 200 m 3 of excess sludge are produced daily in a wastewater treatment plant designed for 100,000 E / EW with adsorption stage and activation tank.
The sludge already pre-cleaned in the rake from the wastewater path passes through the feed line 1 into an approximately 200 m 3 large pre-thick 2 a. After thickening to about 4-5% solids content, this completely uniformly formed and similar sludge passes through a rake or a fine-mesh sieve system 2 b to keep the sludge-water mixture fiber-free. At relatively low flow velocities around 30 cm / s, the wastewater sludge mixture is largely wastewater-like and organically highly concentrated. The treatment in the wastewater path has reduced the BOD 5 concentration of the wastewater from 300 mg / l to around 5 mg / l, but also the liquid sludge water phase to around 15,000 to 20,000 mg / l - i.e. by a factor of 50 to 70 has been concentrated.
This sludge-water mixture (200 m 3 ) is heated to 70 ° C in the immersion burner 3 , which is approximately 10 m 3, and remains here for about ½ hour. The 200 m 3 sludge washers then spread over the day at a temperature of 50/55 ° C. (mesophile) into the approximately 300 m 3 acidification stage 6/7 and remained there for about 1 to 1.5 days. Here the organic compounds are broken down and further liquefaction and pasteurization of the sludge takes place. The sludge water mixture is kept in a methane gas blow 17 in 6, 7 in the internal circuit and thus driven through the fixed bed reactor.
At a temperature of about 33 ° C (mesophile), the sludge water mixture then passes through the fixed bed methane reactor, ie the methane digester 9 equipped with fixed bed reactors, and remains in the approximately 2400 m 3 tank for about 10 to 12 days. The Lei device 17 is used to recycle gas from the gasometer 16 for the purpose of internal circulation of the sludge through the fixed beds 7 and 10th After the degassed sludge has been degassed in the degassing shaft 18 , the sludge is fed into the secondary thickener 11 and remains here for about 1 to 1.5 days.
To maintain the external biomass cycle and to activate the bioprocesses, part of the thickened sludge is fed back to the methane reactor via line 14 , the rest to the sludge dewatering plant 12 . The resulting cloudy water is transported via line 13 to the sewage plant inlet.
In the hydrolysis phase, which takes place in the embodiment in the acidification reactor 6 , polymeric substances are broken down into fragments by exoenzymes, which are then in the acidification phase, for. B. to alcohols, CO 2 , H 2 and organic acids. The hydrolyzing and acidifying bacteria have short generation times. An acidic environment is more favorable for the acidifying bacteria.
In the methanogenic phase, which in the exemplary embodiment takes place in the methane reactor 9 , only acetate, H 2 and CO 2 are converted directly from the methane bacteria to CH 4 . Other organic acids, alcohols, etc. must first be converted into acetate by acetogenic bacteria, whereby acetogenic and methanogenic bacteria can only exist in close spatial contact for energetic reasons. Both types of organisms have long generations. A neutral to slightly alkaline environment is favorable for the methane bacteria.
