Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multilayer film according to the generic term of the claim 1, and their manufacture.
From DE-PS 32 16 097 is a multi-layer film known from a single or multi-layer Carrier film and one by lamination with it bonded, blown coextruded composite film, the layers of polyethylene or Polyethylene copolymers of different mechanical Shock resistance is made, the coextruded composite film from a two to five-layer, folded blow hose consists of two in material and thickness matching outer layers, two in material and Thick matching inner layers and possibly up to three Intermediate layers between each inner and outer layer has and with the inner layers through each other Blocking and the outer layers in a composite film without an intermediate layer with the inner layers Melt connection are connected.
As the carrier film, the above-mentioned font strikes unstretched or biaxially stretched films based on polyamide, polyester, Polypropylene and cellophane in front, if necessary, additionally with Aluminum foil are laminated, especially with aluminum laminated polyester films, metallized or PVDC lacquered stretched polyester films or polyamide films. For training a gas barrier are polyvinyl alcohol films and Formation of the outer or inner layers copolymers of Polyethylene / vinyl acetate provided. Furthermore, the Outer layers made of LDPE or LLDPE and the inner layers in particular from a cross-linked with metal ions Ethylene / methacrylic acid copolymers can be formed.
This well-known slide that has been used in previous years has achieved great economic importance especially in the vacuum packaging of ground Coffee used with great success. It did with this well-known multilayer film, especially one achieve a significant reduction in leakage rates to let. The disadvantage of the above Foil, like that of others in coffee packaging multilayer foils used, now consists in that as a result of compression folds, which in the Vacuum packaging arise, the finished packaging has an unsightly appearance and in particular on printed motifs or lettering attached to the film appear out of focus. This gives the visual impression debilitating disadvantage is due to the fact that the printed film tight when applying the vacuum the coffee powder is applied and the contours of the ground coffee thereby on the outside of the Draw off multilayer foils.
So far it has often been managed that the described above, from a multilayer film formed inner packaging with a so-called Outside winder made of printed paper, aluminum / paper or a folding box made of printed cardboard was provided. In addition to the higher material costs for the additional outer winder or the folding box there is also a higher workload because on the Packaging machine two unwinding stations, one each for outer winders and inner winders need, which leads to more frequent role changes and one dirty because of the glue to be used Process leads.
The object of the invention is to develop a multi-layer, suitable for vacuum packaging Foil that has been waived for the previously necessary deemed outer winder and with the same Workload as with the previously from one Packaging bags made by simple winders Achieve attractive looking packaging and enables an optically perfect print image, without the known multilayer films lose known benefits.
The invention provides for achieving this object an object according to the generic concept of Claim 1 of its characteristic features.
Forms in the manufacture of a packaging bag the carrier film the outside of the packaging unit and on it is the printed image, the lettering or similar. appropriate. The production of a packaging unit, e.g. B. in the form of a bag, corresponds to the production a bag from a single winder, under which how mentioned at the beginning, the manufacture of a bag a single film web is to be understood and this Bags without an additional paper outer winder or the like is used. While with the well-known Single winders but the disadvantage arose that after the evacuation of the filled pouch emerged and the typeface a less large The invention enabled sharpness and clarity making a much more attractive looking packaging with significantly improved Typeface and overall achieved one in optical Terms better impression. This effect is on it attributed to that after the evacuation by the in the backing film and the one with it by lamination connected first composite film by means of Perforation holes penetrated and the air first composite film on the inside, d. H. at hers Blocking point is separated again. It arises thus a separation point, so to speak, so that the multilayer The film is separated into a first part, which consists of the Carrier film and with the carrier film through Laminating connected half of the first Composite film and in a second part, the from the second half of the first composite film, the Barrier film and the other composite film or the weldable layer forming single-layer film consists. This creates a packaging unit in with the advantages of the so-called single winder the advantages of an inner and outer winder formed packaging unit are combined. Here the disadvantage of the known, of course External and internal winders existing Avoided packaging units, which consisted in that when filling, e.g. B. a coffee bag, smaller ones Amounts of coffee powder between inside and Outer winders came. Another advantage over the previously known single winder is that the disadvantage of insufficient puncture resistance the well-known multilayer films no longer given is. There is also no and outer winders existing packaging units known disadvantage, the filled packaging units at the head end by a glue to have to close the so-called head label, because the film according to the invention due to its on the Underside of weldable film layer is securely and cleanly closable.
The first composite film is process-related fully perforated, d. H. also half that after the separation from that containing the barrier film heard the second part of the multilayer film, but is this for the function of the invention without any Meaning since all other layers go through either Laminating or by fusion with each other are connected, unless the weldable Film layer is part of such another Composite film is made up of a folded multilayer blow hose, in which the Inner layers also by block compound are interconnected. In such a case corresponds - after the separation of the first composite film - The second half of the multilayer film multilayer film according to DE-PS 32 16 097.
It is more critical for the purposes of the invention Meaning that through with the carrier film Laminate bonded first composite film on the inside is connected by blocking. If there is one Composite film from only one single layer, folded blow hose, the Block binding on the inner walls of the blow hose wall, with a multi-layer blow hose, as in the DE-PS 32 16 097 is described, the Block connection between the inner layers, the Outer layers with the inner layers by fusion are connected. The functionality of the Multi-layer film proposed according to the invention depends on the block binding described on the one hand is high enough to prevent premature disconnection to prevent, on the other hand, but after the Evacuate the filled packaging bag if this is again exposed to the ambient air Desired separation effect between the blocked layers to adjust. Between those by fusion connected outer and inner layers of a first Composite film - formed from a double wall Blow hose - it can be due to high Bond strength does not come to a separation.
In the places of a packaging bag - made from a multilayer film according to the invention - on which the weld seam for closing the bag of course, those at the Production of the multilayer film only blocked Places connected by fusion bond. Not at that the welded areas are separated.
The number of perforation holes is on the set within the first composite film To coordinate block binding. The holes can evenly on the surface of a film blank for a packing unit can be distributed, line or be arranged in a pattern, with few holes, possibly even a single hole per Foil cutting, may be sufficient.
Have proven to be particularly suitable in the manufacture the multilayer film according to the invention following Proven film thickness:
Trägerfolie: 10 bis 15 µm
erste Verbundfolie: einlagiger zusammengelegter
first composite film: single-layer blown hose: total thickness 20 to 40 µm, ie wall thickness of the hose 10 to 20 µm; two-layer coextruded blow hose: total thickness 20 to 40 µm and individual layers from 5 to 15 µm.
Barrierefolien: aus Aluminium ca. 6 bis 10 µm
aus Polyester, Polyamid 12 bis 15 µm,
weitere Verbundfolie aus coextrudiertem, zweilagigem
Blasschlauch: 60 bis 80 µm.Barrier films: made of aluminum approx. 6 to 10 µm from polyester, polyamide 12 to 15 µm,
additional composite film made of coextruded, two-layer blown tube: 60 to 80 µm.
As a suitable printing process for applying Print motifs or lettering in particular the flexographic process and the gravure process for Counterprinting of the carrier film shown.
The lamination can be done by a full-surface Lamination or by a partial applied laminating adhesive are made, whereby especially between the carrier film and the first Composite film a full-surface lamination adhesive application is preferred.
A weldable film layer formed from one single layer film, represents one, due to their uncomplicated construction, particularly inexpensive Embodiment of the present invention. Das The material of such a film is preferably LDPE, Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVAC) or LLDPE. Is the weldable film layer is part of a another composite film, so has a co-extruded Composite film, as in DE-PS 32 16 097 as Component of a multilayer film is described, proven to be particularly suitable. If one or several barrier films as intermediate layers within one having the weldable film layer Laminated film are provided, the Barrier films to achieve sufficient Bond strength with the other layers of film Composite film with additional layers of adhesive be provided.
Es folgt die Beschreibung von Ausführungsbeispielen der Erfindung anhand der Fig. 1 bis 7.The following is a description of exemplary embodiments of the invention with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7.

Fig. 6 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch einen in vereinfachter Form dargestellten bekannten Verpackungsbeutel, hergestellt aus einem Einfachwickler, Fig. 6 shows a cross section through a shown in simplified form known packaging bag made of a Einfachwickler,
Fig. 7 shows a cross section through a packaging bag shown in simplified form, made of a multilayer film according to the invention.
The multilayer film ( 1 ) shown in FIG. 1 consists of the carrier film ( 2 ) which is connected by means of laminating adhesive ( 10 ) to the one outside ( 4 ) of the composite film ( 3 ) formed from a single-layer blown hose. On the other outside ( 5 ) of the composite film ( 3 ) another laminating adhesive ( 10 ) is applied, which connects one side ( 8 ) of a barrier film ( 6 ) to the composite film ( 3 ). The other side ( 9 ) of the barrier film ( 6 ) is connected via a further lamination adhesive ( 10 ) to the weldable film layer ( 11 ) formed from a single-layer film. The carrier film ( 2 ) and the composite film ( 3 ) connected to it by a lamination layer ( 10 ) are perforated with holes ( 7 ). After the evacuation, the air entering through the holes ( 7 ) enables the composite film to be separated at the point indicated by arrow T at which the composite film ( 3 ) is blocked.
The further embodiment of a multilayer film ( 1 ' ) shown in FIG. 2 corresponds to the multilayer film shown in FIG. 1, but instead of the single-layer film forming the weldable film layer, a further composite film ( 12 ), which consists of a two-layer, coextruded, folded blow hose is formed. The composite film ( 12 ) is connected on one side ( 13 ' ) via lamination ( 10 ) to the barrier film ( 6 ), while its other side ( 14'' ) is formed by the weldable film layer ( 11 ).
In the multilayer film shown in Fig. 3 ( 1 '' ), the carrier film ( 2 ) and composite film ( 3 ) correspond to the embodiments described in FIGS. 1 and 2.
The barrier film ( 6 ' ), on the other hand, is part of another, three-layer composite film ( 12' ), in which one side ( 13 ), formed by layer ( 15 ), is connected to the composite film ( 3 ), while the other side ( 14 ) the composite film ( 12 ' ) is formed by the weldable film layer ( 11 ). The barrier film ( 6 ' ) is connected by means of a bonding agent, not shown, to the layer ( 15 ) or to the weldable film layer ( 11 ) by coextrusion.
The multi-layer film shown in Fig. 4 ( 1 ''' ), in turn in which the carrier film and composite film ( 3 ) correspond to the previously discussed embodiments, has a further composite film ( 12'' ), formed from a three-layer, coextruded and collapsed blow hose , which is blocked at the point marked with arrow B. Intermediate layers of the blow hose form barrier films ( 6 '' ). One side ( 13 ' ) of the further composite film ( 12'' ) is in turn connected by lamination ( 10 ) to the first composite film ( 3 ), the other side ( 14' ) of the composite film ( 12 '' ) is through the weldable film layer ( 11 ) formed. Since the composite film ( '12') is formed from a collapsed blowing hose, the weldable film layer (11) with respect to the thickness and material composition of the layer (11 ') connected by the lamination (10) having the composite film (3) is. In the same way, the barrier films ( 6 '' ) match and the interlocked inner layers ( 20; 20 ' ) are identical in terms of thickness and raw material composition. The layers ( 11; 11 ' ) are connected to the barrier films ( 6; 6' ) and these to the inner layers ( 20; 20 ' ) by means of coextruded adhesive layers, not shown, by means of melt bonding.
In Fig. 5 a multilayer film ( 1 '''' ) is shown, which is different from the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 by a different construction of the carrier film ( 2 ) or with the barrier film ( 6 ) in connection with the composite film ( 3 ′ ). Arrow T again indicates the separation point at which the composite film ( 3 ' ) formed from a two-layer blow hose is blocked and at which a separation takes place after completion of the evacuation due to the air entering through the holes ( 7 ). At the points marked S , the layers of the composite film ( 3 ' ) produced by coextrusion are connected by means of a fusion bond. The composite film ( 3 ' ) is with its outside ( 5 ) over lamination ( 10 ) with one side ( 8 ) of the barrier film ( 6 ), the other side ( 9 ) with the weldable film layer ( 11 ), formed from a single-layer film, via which further lamination adhesive ( 10 ) is connected.
Fig. 6 shows a packaging bag ( 16 ), made from a known single winder, immediately after completion of the evacuation. Welds ( 17 ) close the packaging bag ( 16 ) on both sides. It can clearly be seen how wavy contours are formed by compression folds ( 18 ) and the entire packaging bag thus has an unattractive appearance.
The packaging bag shown in FIG. 7 consists of the multilayer film according to the invention, which is shown here in a simplified form. The arrow T denotes the separation zone at which the multilayer film, after completion of the evacuation by means of the air flowing in through the holes ( 7 ), into the carrier film ( 2 ) and the one which are no longer compressed by the external air pressure with respect to the vacuum Half of the composite film ( 3 ) existing area I and the area II consisting of barrier film ( 6 ) and weldable layer ( 11 ) has split. It can be clearly seen that the area II lies tightly against the packaged goods ( 21 ) due to the vacuum generated, but the compression folds ( 18 ) formed do not press through on the area I and this area therefore has an attractive appearance when acting as an outer winder.
