Heißgasrohrleitung. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 7. November 1920 ab.Hot gas pipeline. Patented in the German Empire on November 7, 1920.
The invention relates to a hot gas pipeline with an inner and an outer pipe. These known, composed of outer and inner tubes, with an intermediate one Existing insulation space hot gas lines have the disadvantage that at certain points, in particular at the "connection points, the hot gas stream comes into contact with the insulation material and the isolating agent at this point
To apply the insulation to the outer pipe at high temperatures and to dispense with a double pipe in order to prevent the hot gas flow from coming into contact with the insulating means to avoid is therefore not acceptable because the pipe heats up strongly and its strength is greatly reduced and, similar. as required for steam lines, expansion pipes or compensation sleeves be borrowed. To use the construction of two nested pipes therefore most expedient, because then the outer relatively cool tube is used for this can be to give the whole pipeline sufficient strength, while the inner pipe has the task of the insulation material to protect against the flow of hot gas.
To make these double-walled pipes well with an isolation space in between to be able to, according to the invention, the insulation space after the pipe interior is to be gas-tight be made. For this purpose, the annular insulation space is at the pipe ends Completed by resilient ring-shaped bases, the inner edge of which is bent over Poured into the inner tube and its outer edge after placing a spacer ring is welded to the flared end of the outer tube. Furthermore, the ends of the inner tubes are lengthened.
The drawing shows a section through the \ r genetic binding site of two pipes.
The entire hot gas pipeline is composed of double-walled pipes. Not only the straight strands, but also the bends and other fittings are double-walled in this way. The individual tube thus consists of the outer jacket A, which can be made of wrought iron or cast iron, the inner jacket B, expediently made of cast iron, and the resilient bases D, E connecting the two jackets. The cross-section C remaining between the outer and inner tube serves as an insulation space and is accordingly filled with the insulation compound after the pipes have been completed. The filling can be done through openings in the outer tube, which can be screwed afterwards. The tubes are flanged together in a known manner with the interposition of a packing and two rings / and / '. The purpose of the rings is to prevent the resilient bases from touching each other when the inner tubes expand. The inner tubes are thus completely outside with insulation compound cases up to the lying at the junction of the tubes spaces H. These spaces H must be available in all circumstances, in order as stated above, to allow a free expansion of the inner tubes. When the inner tubes expand, the spring bases E and D bend. The spring bases can, as shown, be smooth or, as shown in dotted lines, be doubly curved by bending and welding in order to have an even greater flexibility; they then consist of parts E, E '. So that the hot gas stream cannot get into the rooms H too easily, the inner pipe sections B are extended so far beyond the fastening point of the spring bases that they cover the dead room H with the exception of a small gap with the extensions F, G. By arranging a projection and a recess, this gap can be reduced to a few millimeters, so that a flow of the hot gases through the dead space is as good as impossible. The insulation material itself cannot come into contact with the hot gases at any point. It is also impossible for the insulation material to leak into the inside of the pipe or to the outside. The connection of the floors D, E to the inner tubes B can be done by casting, the connection to the outer tubes by welding. The black areas in the drawing mean welds.
