Abstract
To increase the wear resistance of sintered bodies from an aluminium sinter mixture, the latter is mixed with a pulverulent additive of oxides, carbides, nitrides, borides or silicates of elements which, with respect to the free enthalpy of reaction, are more electronegative than the corresponding aluminium compound or aluminium and form mixed crystals with the aluminium in the sinter temperature range.
