Die Erfindung besteht an erster Stelle darin, daß das Kondensat in einem in die zum Kessel führende Druckleitung der Kondensatpumpe eingeschalteten Vorwärmer durch Abgase weiter erwärmt wird. Auch soll gegebenenfalls als zu verdampfendes Frischwasser Maschinenkühlwasser, z. B. aus Gasmaschinen, verwendet werden. Durch die Erfindung soll gegenüber bekannten Verdampferanlagen eine noch bessere Ausnutzung der Abgaswärme erstrebt werden.
