Kohlenstoffpartikeln. The invention relates to a flotation cell
Separation of those present in fly ash
Carbon particles.
From German patent specification 32 05 385 is a
Process for separating coal particles from fly ash
by flotation in the collector and foamer
Known water, according to which the flotation is vigorous
Ventilation is carried out in several stages, the
pH in the first stage to a value from 6 to 8
and in the last stage to a value below 6.5
is set. Each level has several
Flotation cells, each with one
Stirrer is provided. The dwell time from fly ash,
Collector, foamer and water existing flotation slurry
is about 2 to 5 minutes in the individual cells, see above
that the fly ash in the flotation slurry in
a two-stage flotation battery with, for example
6 agitator flotation cells maximum 30 at least 12
Exposed to flotation for minutes
is. If it is now the fly ash to be floated
a fly ash with cement-like properties
acts after removal of the fly ash
existing carbon particles very advantageous
Production of mortar or concrete can be used
so when flotating this fly ash in this
previously known flotation battery with agitator cells
due to this very long dwell time of the fly ash in
the flotation cells these cement-like properties
reduced so that of carbon particles
Exempted fly ash only conditionally for the production of
Mortar or concrete can be used. Furthermore
is in this known method for the separation of
Coal particles from fly ash by flotation due to the
throughput is very low and long
hence the flotation is uneconomical.
The object of the invention is therefore that
flotative separation of those present in the fly ash
Carbon particles from the accompanying substances
Avoiding the known disadvantages mentioned above
improve significantly.
Surprisingly, it has been shown that the
Use of a pneumatic, agitator-free
Flotation cell to separate the fly ash
existing carbon particles with little effort
Equipment and flotation reagents an optimal
Separation of those present in the fly ash
Carbon particles from the accompanying minerals
extremely short dwell times in the flotation cell
is achieved. The dwell time of the fly ash in the
Flotation turbidity, as practice has shown, is at
the use of a pneumatic, agitator-free
Flotation cell, as for example in the
DE-PS 24 20 482, or in DE-OS 34 17 327, or in the
DE-OS 31 11 506 is described and shown, only about
2 minutes, so that at a very high level
Throughput does not have the cement-like properties
be affected.
Further details, features and advantages of the invention
result from the following explanation of an in
the drawing shown schematically
Embodiment.
As the drawing shows, the system for separating the carbon particles present in fly ash according to the invention consists of a pneumatic, agitator-free flotation cell ( 1 ), which is preceded by a conditioning device ( 2 ) and the centrifuges ( 3 and 4 ) are connected downstream as dewatering devices. In operation of this plant, the conditioning device ( 2 ), which is very advantageously equipped with stirrers ( 5 ), is supplied with the fly ash in the direction of the arrow ( 6 ) from above. At the same time, water is added to the conditioning device ( 3 ) via a line ( 7 ), and the fly ash is dispersed or evenly distributed in the water with the aid of the stirrer. The flotation slurry produced in this way in the conditioning device ( 2 ) is fed continuously via a line ( 8 ) with a gassing reactor ( 8 ') to which a compressed air line ( 9 ) is connected to the flotation cell ( 1 ) at the bottom. May be pneumatic, rührwerklosen flotation cell (1), which advantageously very formed as the flotation cell according to the DE-OS 34 17 327, are floated present in the fly ash carbon particles and centrally through a foam removal pipe (10) from the flotation cell (1 ) discharged and fed to the centrifuge ( 4 ) for dewatering. The carbon particles obtained in this way can very advantageously be returned directly to the power plant and used as fuel.
Der von den Kohlenstoffpartikeln befreite
Flotationsrückstand wird aus der Flotationszelle (1) über
eine Ableitung (11) nach unten abgezogen und der
Zentrifuge (3) zur Entwässerung zugeführt. Die in der
Zentrifuge (3) auf etwa 20 bis 25% H 2O entwässerte
Flugasche wird unmittelbar daran über eine Leitung (12)
einem in der Zeichnung nicht näher dargestellten
Stromtrockner zum Trocknen aufgegeben. Die auf diese
Weise von den Kohlenstoffpartikeln befreite und
getrocknete Flugasche kann dann, insbesondere wenn es
sich um eine Flugasche mit zementähnlichen Eigenschaften
handelt, sehr vorteilhaft unmittelbar zur Herstellung von
Mörtel oder Beton eingesetzt werden. Da hierbei gemäß der
Erfindung die Behandlungsdauer der Flugasche von der
Konditionierung bis zur Trocknung nur wenige Minuten
beträgt, erfolgt keinerlei Qualitätsverminderung
bezüglich der vorteilhaften zementähnlichen
Eigenschaften. Auch ist aufgrund der geringen
Behandlungszeit, die gemäß der Erfindung zur flotativen
Trennung der Kohlenstoffpartikeln von der Flugasche
erforderlich ist, die Durchsatzleistung der Anlage gemäß
der Erfindung entsprechend hoch. The flotation residue freed from the carbon particles is withdrawn from the flotation cell ( 1 ) via a drain ( 11 ) and fed to the centrifuge ( 3 ) for dewatering. The fly ash, which has been dewatered in the centrifuge ( 3 ) to about 20 to 25% H 2 O, is fed directly to it via a line ( 12 ) for drying in a current dryer (not shown in the drawing). The fly ash freed from the carbon particles in this way can then, particularly if it is a fly ash with cement-like properties, be used very advantageously directly for the production of mortar or concrete. Since, according to the invention, the treatment time for the fly ash from conditioning to drying is only a few minutes, there is no reduction in quality with regard to the advantageous cement-like properties. Also, due to the short treatment time required for the flotative separation of the carbon particles from the fly ash, the throughput of the plant according to the invention is correspondingly high.
In the event that subsequent flotation of the flotation residue discharged from the flotation cell ( 1 ) via the discharge line ( 11 ) should be necessary in order to separate any carbon particles present in the fly ash from the fly ash, this flotation residue is placed in a receptacle shown in dashed lines in the drawing ( 13 ) collected and with the addition of flotation reagents (direction of arrow 14 ) via a line ( 15 ) with gassing reactor ( 15 '), into which compressed air is also introduced via a branch line ( 16 ), a pneumatic, agitator-free flotation cell ( 17 ) is added and the fly ash is separated from the remaining carbon particles. The floated in the flotation cell (17) carbon particles are placed on a foam removal line (18) of the centrifuge (4), and freed of the carbon particles Flotationsaustrag on the leading downwardly from the flotation cell (17), discharge (19) of the centrifuge (3) . The liquid obtained in the centrifuges ( 3 and 4 ) can, if necessary, in turn be returned to the conditioning device ( 2 ) via lines ( 20 and 21 ) shown in broken lines in the drawing and used again.
