Description

Hohlnadel. Hollow needle. For diagnostic purposes, mostly for setting up the Wassermann reaction, and for therapeutic purposes (bloodletting), blitit is removed from a vein (venous puncture) using a hollow needle and it is collected in a small glass tube. Nowadays the "Strauss cannula," a hollow needle with a suitable handle, is mostly used for this operation. Many doctors do di-e venipuncture with a record high. The blood must first be injected from the syringe into the glass tube afterwards. With the first type of venipuncture there is a difficulty in collecting the blood at the same height as the tube without anything running off. For this purpose, the needle is generally placed on the tube in such a way that the handle of the needle lies on the upper edge of the tube. In this storage, the disadvantage has -herausgestellt that one should form dii needle, the a-nit now, the tube one unit, not f est in, has ider #Gewalt, since the index finger! Deng needle handle to the tube presses and the tube is held with the thumb and middle finger. Since the procedure has to be very precise for anatomical reasons, one must have the index finger available to hold the tube if one wants to carry out the necessary stitch safely and comfortably.

This deficiency is to be eliminated by the same subject matter of the invention. The essence of the invention is that the needle is designed in such a way that it can be placed on each glass tube and forms a solid unit with it during the blood withdrawal. You can do this by holding the tube with your thumb and forefinger, which is the only rational posture.

On the drawing sinü three AusfÜhrungsbei.spiele of the invention shown in view and plan view. The hollow needle, a., Is provided with a pierced extension b at the bottom and is equipped with a handle d, which is provided with a device for placing on the glass tube c. According to Figs. I and 2, the fastening device consists of a U-shaped bracket g that engages the glass wall and against which a fastening screw f acts from the outside. When the latter is tightened, the needle is bolted to the glass.

According to Fig. 3 and 4, the handle d is provided with a clamp h encompassing the glass c, the opening width of which is regulated by an adjusting screw f.

The arrangement can also be made in such a way that the handle d is a circular plate, which has the advantage that the glass c is completely covered while the blood is being drawn.

The plate d carries below z. B. three pegs i, by which screws f are pressed against the Glas.wand and so hold the needle.
