Bei jenem Hauptpatent ist das Luftkissen unmittelbar auf der Metallsohle befestigt. Diese Art der Befestigung hat sich als zeitraubend und unpraktisch erwiesen. Beim Gegenstande der Erfindung ist die Befestigung des in bekannter Weise im Querschnitt dreieck- oder keilförmigen Luftkissens dadurch verbessert, daß dasselbe auf einer zwischen Metallsohle und Luftkissen befindlichen Hilfsschicht aus gummiertem oder ähnlich präpariertem Stoff oder Leder befestigt ist. Da aber Gummi auf Metall nicht ohne weiteres aufzukleben ist, so mußte ein anderer Weg zur Befestigung gefunden werden. Die neue Befestigungsweise besteht darin; daß ein Stück einseitig gummierte Leinwand R (Abb. i), welches im Umriß demjenigen der Pelotte B entspricht, unmittelbar auf der Metallsohlenplatte M angebracht ist, und zwar durch Aufnieten o. dgl. (Nieten N), so daß die gummierte Seite dieser Hilfsschicht der Fußsohle zugekehrt ist. Dann wird. die Pelotte mit Gummilösung aufgeklebt. Die Abb. 2 zeigt die Ausführung dieser Befestigung mit Nieten, und zwar die Sohle von unten gesehen.
