Composite tool, consisting of a die, on which, with the interposition of the sheet to be processed, a correspondingly shaped stamp can be pressed on, for carrying out the method according to claim 1, characterized in that in an annular cutout ( 3 ) from the stamp ( 2 ) a spring-loaded frame ( 4 ) is used which runs along the circumference of the body part ( 6 , 8 ) to be produced and which, when the stamp ( 2 ) is pressed onto the die ( 1 ), has the upwardly bent edges ( 7 ) of the sheet metal ( 6 ) to be processed bends further inwards and thus seals outwards during the subsequent backing with plastic ( 8 ) and at the same time protects the relevant edges ( 7 ) against undesired plastic application.
