Description
Raumbild-Entfernungsmesser. Space image rangefinder. The invention is an improvement a space image rangefinder.
Previously, these rangefinders required the rangefinder to hold both in the height adjustment and in the windage adjustment so that the image of the target appeared as close as possible to the mark in question. The invention eliminates this inconvenience and achieves that the observer the distance can measure, too when the target is in any arbitrary place or in any of several locations in the field of view. This Advantage is achieved thereby. that in every field of view a "plurality of" marks or lines, similar to older rangefinders with a known 7-target size, and is arranged in such a way that the two brand images match each other in such a way that that all marks or lines are at the same distance (perspective spatial depth) when viewed spatially (stereoscopically). The new Brand image can e.g. B. consist of a number of connectionless tags that are distributed over the field, or the marks can be arranged like a grid There are linings that run vertically or at an angle.
It follows that wherever the image of the target is in the field of view is located, it is always very close to a mark or a line part with which the comparison of the apparent distance can be made.
In order to prevent false spatial effects, certain areas are created in both fields Corresponding trademarks are provided, which are distinguishable from the others (see Fig. 5, 6 and 9). The same result will be achieved if the marks if they match in both fields are not at the same distance (see Fig. 7) so that brands that do not match each other are not due to carelessness in the two fields are brought into spatial correspondence when one marks, which should not correspond to each other, in spatial congruence in the two Fields of vision.
The range finders according to the invention have a great advantage before other types of space image rangefinders for the observation of fast moving. Aim, e.g. B. they are particularly well suited, from land or from on board a ship determine from the distance of an aircraft. Some examples of the invention are shown in the drawings.
It is not possible to create spatial effects through drawings alone to represent. The images must therefore be viewed as if they were the field of view represent which can only be seen by one eye, or as if there were two fields are seen by both eyes in exactly the same way. They show some Embodiments.
In Fig. Z, the identification marks are arranged in a grid. The goal will appear either in front of or behind the grille until the adjuster of the range finder the apparent spatial position of either the measuring marks or the target changed in such a way that they seem to lie on a communal plane.
In Fig. A, the marks across the field are disjointed - in any convenient arrangement distributed, but in such a way that all marks for the observer seem to be at the same distance.
In Fig. 3 the marks are drawn as vertical lines through the field.
In Fig.q. the lines do not extend the full height of the Field. In any such arrangement, the lines can be arbitrarily close together lie (see Fig.5), there can also be some corresponding lines in the two Fields must be made distinguishable from the rest, so that lines that are not one another correspond to one another, not even when viewed spatially to be brought.
In Fig. 6, lines are made distinguishable by the fact that some of they are drawn twice or thicker than the others.
In Fig. 7 the lines are not even. Distances from each other, they can be put together as closely as you want without the danger confusion occurs between lines that do not belong together.
In Fig. 8 the lines are separated by their different lengths to distinguish.
In Fig. 9 is yet another arrangement for identifying the lines shown.
