Abstract

Mould plates for impressing plastic materials are provided in one face with a cavity (2) representing the required profile and in the other face with a rib (3) having flat crest and generally aligned with the profile of (2). A complementary plate (5) is provided with a relief profile (6) corresponding to (2), and also features an aligned rib (7) on its opposite face. At least one of the platem pref. (1), is made of a transparent material (I), opt. internally reinforced with a mesh (8) of material attractive to magnetic clamping. Opt. (1) is of composite construction, with a cavity layer (9) made of a rigid thermoplastic material and a support layer (10) made of a more flexible material.
