Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an annular space valve according to the upper Concept of claim 1.
Sometimes two ko axial pipe strings used.
When using such pipe strings for oil drilling larger flow cross-sections can be achieved. The Petroleum can either only be with the help of the inner tube or only the annulus between the two coaxial tubes or but at the same time be promoted from both pipe rooms.
In natural gas wells that produce a highly corrosive medium such as H 2 S or CO 2 , it may prove necessary to protect the materials of the internals from corrosion using so-called inhibitors. Such inhibitors, which are available in liquid form, are either pumped through a separate line installed parallel to the conveyor line or through the annular space of a coaxial tube combination to the deepest borehole.
When using a coaxial tube combination, both stand the riser of the inner tube as well as the annulus between the two coaxial pipe strings in direct Connection to the deposit. If the Wellhead could be the medium contained in the well exit uncontrolled.
The invention has for its object an uncontrolled to prevent leakage of borehole media. This on is given in coaxial pipe runs by the in claim 1 characterized invention solved. Further training of the Er invention are characterized in the subclaims.
In principle, the invention is that in the annular space a valve between the inner tube and the outer tube body is attached to one of the two pipe strings firmly inserted and with the annulus wall of each other pipe string to prevent flow is sealed, but instead by closable holes connecting the annular spaces separated by the valve body. A valve is displaced on an extension of the valve body arranged bar, the holes by pressing a spring closed, by controlled back pressure e.g. using a Control line but be opened against the pressure of the spring can.
Diese zeigen inIn order to explain the invention in more detail, a Embodiment described with reference to the drawings. These show in
A stranded longitudinal section through a coaxial tube with inserted open annulus valve
Fig. B einen Rohrstrang gemäß Fig. A mit geschlossenem Ventil Fig. B a tubing string of Fig. A valve-closed
Fig. C einen Querschnitt durch einen Rohrstrang nach Fig. A und Fig. B im Bereich des Ventilkörpers. Fig. C shows a cross section through a pipe string according to Fig. A and Fig. B in the region of the valve body.
In Fig. A, a pipe string is shown with an outer tube 1 and an inner tube 1 a coaxial therewith. Both pipe strings are formed independently of each other from partial pipes screwed together by means of pin and socket threads. The joints of the individual pipe sections therefore do not have to have the same position for the inner and the outer pipe string. In Fig. A, a valve body 2 is inserted into the inner pipe string, which thus forms the inner pipe 1 a here. The valve body 2 , like a conventional pipe, has a male thread at one end and a female thread at the other end. If such a valve body 2 is attached to the corresponding threads of the neighboring pipes 1 a , that is inserted into the pipe string, then the insides of all pipes 1 a form a continuously the same cross section. The outer diameter of the valve body 2 is chosen so large that it almost fills the annular space 4 , 9 between the two tubes 1 and 1 a . With this valve body 2 , the annular space is separated into two parts 4 and 9 . Through the valve body 2 , a bore 5 is guided, which is connected to a surface-mounted Steuereinrich device via a control line 3 , for example, is screwed to the line. A connection of the annular spaces 4 , 9 is made possible through bores 6 in the valve body 2 , which run approximately axially parallel to the tubes 1 , 1 a . The more holes 6 are provided, the better the flow. All holes 6 are arranged on a circumference. A seal 7 is arranged between the valve body 2 and the inner wall of the outer tube 1 . Their type is adapted to the respective requirements. In the figure, packet seals are shown, which are embedded in the valve body 2 to increase stability or to form an abutment. The seals can be lip seals, cup sleeves, coated metals or the like. The application is suitable for low pressures and for high pressures up to 700 bar and more. For some of these seals, it is advantageous to insert a piece of pipe with a specially machined, for example honed inner surface at the location of the valve body in the outer tube 1 . The control line 3 is guided through the annular space 4 , 9 from above to the upper connection of the bore 5 of the valve body 2 and connected to this connection, for example screwed, that the control line 3 and bore 5 have a free passage to one on the other side of the valve body 2 provided further annular space R. The white tere annular space R is formed on the one hand by a transverse wall of the valve body 2 and on the other hand by a part of a sleeve-shaped valve 8 also arranged transversely to the tube axis. The sleeve-like part of the valve 8 surrounds the further annular space R and, with its annular end face, serves to close the mouths of the bores 6 . The mouth of the control hole 5 is offset from the mouths of the holes 6 , so that the further annular space R is also offset from the mouth region of the holes 6 . In this displacement range, the valve body 2 has a diameter that is smaller than the center distance of the bores 6 and larger than the center distance of the control bore 5 . The sleeve-like part of the valve 8 is guided in this area of reduced diameter and at the same time the annular space R is sealed. The part of the valve 8 facing away from the further annular space is designed as an extended extension. This approach is performed on the part of the valve body 2 corresponding to the inner tube 1 a and at the same time the annular space R is sealed. In addition, the approach of the valve 8 serves as a bearing for a spring 10 which presses the valve 8 against the mouth of the bores 6 . For this purpose , an abutment 11 is attached to the inner tube 1 a . The abutment consists of a ring 11 which is fastened to the tube by means of screw (s) 11 a . The screws 11 a can be designed or dimensioned so that they break or loosen when a predetermined pressure in the annular space 4 and so release the closure of the holes. The valve seat is designed so that the Boh stanchions 6 open into an annularly ground sealing seat 12 . The corresponding ground nose 13 seals on the end face of the sleeve-shaped valve 8 in the sealing seat. Steel has proven itself as the material for the valve body 2 and the valve 8 . A harder steel is advantageous for the valve 8 . Since the arrangement can be used for under different materials, the material of the body can be different. For example, stainless steel grades, but also non-metallic materials can be suitable for aggressive media. Materials such as inconel and K-Monel are also suitable. The pressure of the spring 10 is set so that within further pressure limits in the annular space 4, only the pressure of the control lines on the further annular space R is decisive for the opening or closing of the bores. In the event of overpressure in the annular space 4 or if the pressure in the control lines fails, the valve 8 can also be opened by the pressure exerted on the valve 8 through the bores 6 .
If the control line 3 is subjected to hydraulic pressure from above ground, it passes through the bore 5 into the further annular space R between the valve body 2 and the valve 8 and presses the latter against the force of the spring 10 from the sealing seat 12 into the open position. In this case, free flow from the annular space 4 into the annular space 9 or vice versa is made possible. If the hydraulic pressure from the control line 3 is relieved by surface control devices or by breakage of the control line, the spring 10 presses the valve 8 with its nose 13 against the sealing seat 12 and interrupts the flow between the annular spaces 4 and 9 through the holes 6 . If it proves necessary to establish a connection between the annular spaces 4 , 9 , although the valve blocks a flow, the blocking can be released by destroying the abutment 11 by means of excess pressure in the space 4 .
In the illustrated and described embodiment, the valve body 2 is inserted into the train of the inner tube 1 a . This embodiment is the cheapest solution for replacing damaged or worn valve bodies. But it is also possible to insert the valve body in the train of the outer tube 1 and to provide the seal between the valve body 2 and the inner tube 1 a .
